"The restaurant is beautiful and therefore they get a 2 star. I recently ordered a shrimp sesame appetizer. It was terrible. The shrimps were the precooked and if u deep fry or fry get some hard and have no taste. They were warm. This restaurant has a very limited menu. When I asked if I could order shrimp and broccoli, I was told it would be for dinner price of 21.00. It was really lunch!!!! The girl at the bar to take several orders was very rude to contradict most requests from other customers. I had great hopes in this place and will never return now."

Overrated. The prices are very high for what is just average Chinese food. I paid an extra $1.50 for three pieces of wilted broccoli with my General Tso's chicken. I also spent $11 on ribs and only received four tiny bones with hardly any meat on them.

We tried this place on a whim because our favorite spot for Chinese take-out was closed. We did not regret it! The food and the customer service were both excellent. And don't let the strip mall location put you off. When you walk inside, the place has some lovely ambiance.

Excellent standard fare, great atmosphere. Clientele tend to be a bit relaxed, but we are a beach community. Typical Chinese family business, husband, wife, uncle, kids, all working tables or kitchen. We tend to purchase enough for two meals, so true cost is about $12 per dish. View menu

I ordered takeout online and got the twice-cooked pork and Mongolian beef with bok choy. The email notification said my food would be ready at 5:36, but I arrived ten minutes early and found it already waiting on the counter. I recommend arriving early to ensure your meal is fresh off the cooktop. The twice-cooked pork was outstanding, and the Mongolian beef was quite good as well.

All at Double Happiness is absolutely delicious! Sublime! Perfection! So full of perfect taste! This time I had the chicken roast (it is a huge part) and the Mu Shu Duck. There is literally no better Chinese food everywhere. And for everything you eat snobs that want to know if it is authentic: if you order your food in English, they write it in Chinese. I witnessed it with my own eyes. You owe it to you to eat here. Again, perfection.

Wow! I've dined at countless Chinese restaurants throughout my life and thought I had discovered my favorite in my hometown before heading to the coast. However, Double Happiness has surpassed even my top choice on the east coast! This restaurant is magnificent, with super friendly and helpful staff. And the FOOD! I had the best lunch date with my friend today. I have never been here before. Amazing hardly says it. I had the chicken curry. Oh my goodness! Excellent service all around. Phonomanal food. Thank you Leigh Anne and the kind lady up front and chefs. TheHot and sour soup side was the best I have ever had. We went at lunch and left paying $24. I have left overs for 3 days. You dothe math. Amazing! We went again today and had a great waiter, John. He spoke Chinese! He was amazing! Brought some food to myhusband. Yummy!
