"I recently dined at Eddie V’s for the second time. My first visit was with my girlfriend, and this time I went with a few friends. Both experiences were unique, but overall very enjoyable. Our server, Jason or Jay (apologies for not remembering), was personable and made our dining experience more relatable while still maintaining a high level of service. We did encounter a small issue with one of the filets, which we later realized was due to a mistake by the food runner. However, our server quickly rectified the error. I will definitely be returning to Eddie V’s in the future."

We aren't sure why we were charged full price for cocktails during happy hour, but we still enjoyed the food and service. View menu

We went for my birthday; along with a trip to Boston MA. It is our last night in Boston, MA; Eddie V’s was the perfect way to end a totally wonderful birthday weekend. The staffs attention to every detail of helping us celebrate my birthday made it a perfect birthday.

Did not know what to expect so was happily surprised. Had the lobster bisque and the special Butterfish which was superb . The Salmon was also very good. Server very nice but twice wanting to take the bread away even before appetizers arrived otherwise very good attentive service. It is a large space so a little more chatter around but still very nice vibe. Banana foster cake was a great ending to a delicious meal.

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
