"I decided to try this taco/burrito joint on a whim after searching on Google for something new in the neighborhood. I usually stick to the more mainstream places, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Super quesadilla here. I chose carne asada over lengua, which I usually get, and it was delicious. The lady at the front was really nice and allowed me to use the restroom when I needed to, which I appreciated. The quesadilla was large and tasty, and I paid $12 with a credit card. The tortilla was fried perfectly crispy and the filling was full of meat. They also offer unlimited sides of pico de gallo and salsas. My only complaint was that the horchata was a bit powdery, but overall the meal was fantastic. I highly recommend giving this place a try."

I think it is about time that I put in some Latin flavor up in this joint. My sweetie K and I went to this Mission District establishment over the weekend. We had just been to the Asian Heritage Street Fair earlier that day, but we were still mad hungry. View menu

Been here a few times and it’s a must have if you’re looking for a tasty burrito. One of the best I’ve ever had. I really like the salsa bar/section where you can get your own salsa. I always hate asking someone for extra behind the counter so the salsa bar is a great touch! The vibes are so nice and comforting.

Caution: The food at this restaurant is awful and overpriced. The Regular Burrito for $11.50 gave me a stomach ache and food poisoning, resulting in diarrhea. I do not recommend this place. Instead, head around the corner to El Farolito for better and healthier food. Their dishes are always fresh and more affordable, with the Regular Burrito priced at $8.50. You won't experience any stomach issues or sickness there.

Yesterday was the last time I go here. The young waitress was ringing up customers, then went to put both of her dirty hands in the chip box without washing them or putting on gloves, scooped them out to put in the basket, and handed them to me. I told her that was unacceptable and not hygienically handled. She pretended to go wash her hands and then laughed. Disgusting and disrespectful. It saddened me because the owner of the restaurant deserves better. View menu

I ordered a super al pastor burrito and was quite impressed. It was flavorful and fresh, with a nice balance of meat, sauce, and vegetables. However, a few pieces of meat had some tough cartilage. The price was reasonable at $14.70, including tax. The meal came with a small bag of crispy chips, but unfortunately, there was no salsa provided. The service was extremely fast, and I want to commend both the chef and the waitress. It was good enough that I plan on returning to try other meats.

I ordered food from this restaurant through Uber Eats and I was extremely disappointed with my order. The enchiladas were so salty that they were practically inedible. The rice was also overly salty, and the refried beans were watery and salty as well. The chefs at this restaurant need to reduce the amount of salt they use in their dishes. My order was a waste of money and did not satisfy my hunger at all. The only thing that was seasoned correctly were the tortilla chips. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
