"We chose El Tajado because it was right off the highway, and we could make a right hand turn directly onto 75N from it. While pulling into the parking lot, it didn't look like much. Attached to an older hotel and all. But it was quite nice upon walking in. Nice bar and seating area. The service and food were excellent. And I mean excellent. A diamond in the rough. I'm glad we didn't judge the book by its cover."

Terrible food . Ordered beef and cheese nachos and it came dry more than a dryer sheet. Looked like the chips were crushed hard taco shells . And yet got charge 13 for it.

The guacamole and stuffed peppers are fantastic at this restaurant. The service is excellent and it has a nice family-friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place for dinner. The price per person is between $30 and $50. The food is rated 4 out of 5, service is 5 out of 5, and atmosphere is 4 out of 5.

Ate here while driving through the area. The reviews were very positive and so we decided to give it a try. Simply put very, very good!! The restaurant is nothing new, but still clean and warm. The staff were VERY friendly and made us feel right at home. Definitely recommend this one if you are in the mood for a friendly environment and great Mexican food.
