"This store has been around 20 years. Very overpriced sandwiches. The layout is very small so there is always a long line to order and, so you are standing over customers who are already eating at their seats. My wife ordered a simple blt. The sandwich had chopped up pieces of lettuce and bacon. When my wife tried to eat the sandwich, it would fall apart. They may as well of put the sandwich in a bowl and eaten with a spoon. Two sandwiches, chips, and drinks and cost over $30. It is not worth the exorbitant prices. There is a Subway a couple of stores down that would be a better option."

The food and drinks are excellent, and the service is top-notch. It might be a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth a visit every once in a while. View menu

All their food it’s amazing! Whatever you order it’s going to be good. Coffee is also good. Pretty quiet too. Parking: Parking is limited. I’ve always found a parking spot, but it is limited.

I’ve been here several times now, and it’s always awesome. The people are extremely friendly, the food is great, and it can be healthy if you want. Cool atmosphere and good coffee to boot. Throw in an almond danish and thank me later. Ugh, so good.

Prices have gone significantly higher over these past couple of years; I just spent $15 on a bacon, eeg and cheese croissant with coffee. It is a good place. It has always been one of our stops for our bikers group, and it is also a known stop for cyclists. It seems they are capitalizing on a well-deserved fame and increasing new neighborhoods in the area. View menu

A favorite Cafe tucked away in Fulshear. Food is outstanding, never disappointing on the dozen times we've been there the last few years. A smallish setting where you'll see plenty of locals in and out which speaks well for the place. It's a cafe setting with all that implies for busy atmosphere, counter ordering, and casual yet welcomed feel. At the same time, we have been surprised again and again at the food selections and quality. An easy choice for us to go any weekend or lunch visit when I can insert it to the work schedule.

A great place to eat! Very friendly staff. Went back 4/14/24. They have changed from wait staff to lunch counter style. Order at the counter and they deliver it. Blue berry pancakes need more than 6 blueberries in them! Croissant sandwich was good. Cappuccino was good, but tables were dirty and not bussed and no sugar/ salt/ condiments on the table. Food runner needed a better attitude. He was rude and made it obvious that it was not his job to bring sugar or a spoon for the coffee. If my expectations were lower I would have liked it more.

"This is a tough review. I want to start with what works. The atmosphere was ideal. Great crowd, and the service was exceptional, and so was our waitress. The owner stopped by and greeted us, and our waitress checked in on us regularly. The food came out in a timely manner, and the price points were incredibly affordable. With that being said, the quality of the food is mediocre at best and or unedible. For $100, we ordered the 38.00 appetizer platter, which was quite abundant, with no drinks, just iced waters, x2 soups, a salad, and a pasta for a total of 3 people. Let's start with the water ? which had an unpleasant distinct taste ?. The appetizer platter was mediocre and priced incredibly affordably for what you get. The ceviche was underwhelming, and the calamari was rubbery. The rest of the platter was decent but nothing to BRAG about. We ordered x2 soups, the lobster bisque bowl, and the gumbo bowl. The bowls are very large sizes, and the prices were incredibly affordable for only $12. The lobster bisque was decent and fulfilling, and it did the job, but it wasn't anything spectacular. As for the Gumbo, we had to return it because it was unedible. Extremely salty to the point of bitterness. We had it exchanged for the clam showder, and it was bad. It had too much cream and little to no flavor at all.The pasta was bland and simply unpleasant. It came with a side salad, which was a simple salad and a piece of garlic toast, and pasta was topped with Parmisian cheese, which is a big no-no when serving pasta with seafood. As for the shrimp crab bacon salad ? as large and abundant, I could not eat it. The shrimp was not cooked and taste liked the ocean. It was an awful salad with generic ingredients and nothing spectacular. I had envisioned that the shrimp would have been grilled and maybe a recommended dressing that would enhance the flavors and create a story to the plate, and you simply get to choose your option of 10 dressings. We left incredibly underwhelmed, and outside of the appetizer platter and lobster bisque, we left everything barely touched. You are paying for basic ingredients and inexperienced cooks doing the bare minimum to simply serve an abundant dish. The biggest setback is their cook staff. They need a new chef and or cooking staff. This place has so much potential in the hands of a better kitchen staff."

"My brother usually takes our 87 yr old mom to breakfast as she lives near him. This Saturday he was out of town so I got to take mom out. When I picked her up I asked what she wanted and she said she didn 't care. Me being on a new place and taco kick Yelled breakfast tacos near me and LaBalance came up as close by and one I 've never been to before. So off we go. It was close, like 2 miles away. I 'd passed it many times and have no idea why I hadn 't stopped before. We were treated by the owner and seated. Menus brought out and various hot sauce bottles put out. The menu had several breakfast items but what caught my attention was an off menu plate I had no idea what it was. The owner said it was Chilaquiles. He described it and that what I went with. They brought out a place with something I 've never had before next to 2 fried eggs (my choice) and seriously good refried black beans, was a pile of corn tortilla chips tossed in a red sauce with a crema sauce, cilantro y avocado sliced on top. (See the pic). The beans and eggs were very good, bet the red chips were outstanding and a bit spicy. The were still crispy and had a great flavor from the sauce. And again, some heat! I just about ate it all, huge plate, but I was done. As for my mom, she had the Fulshear Supreme breakfast burrito. Packed with about everything, it too looked good and she said so. She ate half and the rest went home. The owner and his wife were supper nice and explained a bit of their history. Originally they were an Italian restaurant and wine bar but Covid stooped that and rebranded as a Mexican restaurant. He said the specialize in true Mexican food as opposed to Tex Mex similar foods with a different flavor. Owners wife said they still do wine tasting so we 're gonna look into that. I 'll definitely be back and report back the next dish I have.
