"We have been going to Essence of China for years. We obviously enjoy it and dine there often. They gladly customize their meals. When I was on chemo therapy, it was the only restaurant whose food I could eat. My husband loves spicy food, so the cooks always complies with his requests. The service is outstanding and it has a very soothing atmosphere."

Wonderful service, great food, and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, and we both enjoyed everything we ordered. This is the first time we visited here and I'm glad we gave it a try. Definitely one of our new favorites from now on.

No one else at our table was*super* dissatisfied, but my food was just not good. The server was a little demure and almost coy. She did a fine job. The fried rice was not good at all. The shrimp and vegetables dish was barely fair. The veggys seemed fresh, but nothing else. In their defense, blame it on covid.... Everyone else does.
