"From the outside, the building has a dated look, but it is well-kept. The interior decor continues the same theme, giving the restaurant a rustic, country vibe that feels reminiscent of the 80s. The spacious dining room was filled with friendly locals, making it easy to strike up conversations. My server, Angie, was exceptionally friendly and efficient, ensuring our sweet tea was always filled. I particularly enjoyed the salad bar, where we had to wear disposable gloves provided by the restaurant. For my main course, I opted for the ribs accompanied by French fries, baked beans, and garlic bread. The ribs were quite good, and the fries were hot. However, the baked beans were overly mushy, and the garlic bread tasted more like ordinary breakfast toast, lacking any real garlic flavor. As seen in my photos, I later returned for breakfast, which was excellent! Overall, I was satisfied with my experience, and the service was truly outstanding."

Great barbecue with a fantastic smoky flavor. However, the selection of side dishes is limited. Prices are quite reasonable. The decor could use some updating, but it's still the best BBQ spot in St. Cloud. Service may be a bit slow when they're busy, but your patience will be worth it. View menu

I wasn’t impressed with my meal. The chicken was quite dry, and the garlic bread was just mildly buttered toast. The fries were decent, but I really enjoyed the mac and cheese, although I’ve encountered larger samples at Costco. We Jeep and we eat. After a trail ride down three lakes we decided to have a late lunch at fat boys. I have been going to fat boys since the 70s when there was one up on Highway 50. Always satisfied and the portions are generous. The photo is the feast for two. More than enough for the two of us to eat, the ribs were good, the corn was good, I love the baked beans and the thick toast. Our host was pleasant and helpful and she kept the sweet teas full.
