"Wife ordered food through Door Dash! There was a dead cockroach. When I called the restaurant, the man (owner) told us ' 'IT IS NOT POSSIBLE, THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN HERE ' '. He was rude! Meal ruined, posting pictures. We use Door Dash to regularly order from this place. Guess this is the last time. ZERO STARS! For This Place! Also, they were missing a Flan but that 's not a big deal. They insisted that we bring back the food to them, so he can see! There is a reason people use door dash. When we told him we ordered through DoorDash, he said we need to figure out how to get here. There food is usually good and we never had any issues with the quality before. Update: Door Dash was nice enough to refund entire meal, plus $20."

"Absolutely awesome place to visit. Go on Tuesdays, when pinball is FREE! That's not why it rates high, but it is a plus. We started with the beer pretzel appetizers. Fan-damn-tastic. Superb! The cheese dip that comes with it, as well as the honey mustard dressing, were exceptional compliments. Wings are great. Recommend the garlic sauce if you are into lots of garlic. Really tasty. Atmosphere is top notch. Dress up, dress down. Just relax and enjoy."

"Salads were fresh as was the ingredients. Chicken melted in our mouths and my husband loved the spinach classic salad. My only complaint is that on my Cobb salad I didn’t get my avocado or my bacon. That was the only drawback! Vinaigrette dressing was out of this world good! Update: management please know that I wasn’t upset at all!!! Everyone makes mistakes and ya’ll are only human!! We love your place!"

"So here's the thing.I love this place I really do, the food is solid, the people here are always reasonably nice and cool. If you're going inside, this review can stop right here and I would give them a 5/5.But it doesn't stop right there.Don't go through the drive-thru, just don't. Never go through the drive-thru. Even if there's only one car, just don't. They may as well not even have one. I don't think I've ever waited less than 20 minutes, and I've waited upwards of 45 minutes. This place has the longest wait time out of any restaurant in the entire city of Wood River if you go through the drive-thru.And you see, upon waiting such an annoying amount of time the cracks begin to show. The food, while pretty good, is somewhat pricey. Sometimes you get to the window, and they've run out of whatever you ordered, but you've already waited 30 minutes. The people that work the window, also seem to work other stations inside, so you'll go quite a while without hearing from anyone. All the respect of the staff, it's a busy place, just feels like it's not the most well optimized for a drive-thru, but that's not their fault, they just work there.Don't go through the drive-thru."

"It 's 5.99 per pound. They weighed my carton and said one half so I said Oh, I thought I had more than that. That 's great. I 'll get a little more. I put more food in and brought it back up and the lady said two half. I said I have two halves? I mean I have one? I now have one pound? I think I have more than one pound. That should be about six or seven dollars. She said two half. I said I only had one half (which is one half of a pound) and now I have two half (which is not even a thing) so I don 't know what to pay you. Do you mean I had 'one half of a pound ' before or 'one and a half pounds ' before? Do I have 'two halves ' now? Or do I have 'two and a half ' now? She looked really annoyed with me and turned the scale around and said you have one half now you have two half. The scale read two AND a half pounds. So when I thought I was under $5.99 I was already at $8 and I ended up spending about $16 on a carton of food. The food was pretty good but it 's really not that hard to learn the word AND. One and half. Two and half. It 's a business. One half is three times less the weight than one and half. I should have known better and I thought it seemed odd but I was really excited that I still have more to go before I made it up to a pound. Okay, so I 'm an idiot. LOL I know I 'm very hesitant about going there again not only because it was confusing, but because when I asked and was confused the lady was rude. THAT was the whole point of this. I asked how much and she was cross with me. One half. Two half. I didn 't know why she was angry when I was trying to figure out what two half meant. It meant a very expensive meal. Almost all of the food tasted good. For that reason, I might go back."
