"We went out for a family dinner to enjoy a CHURRASCO experience, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. While the food itself was good, we didn't get to sample most of the meats. It felt like we were forgotten or ignored. We only received steak and chicken; there was no sign of pork, pork belly, lamb, sausage, or ribs. We sat there waiting, almost feeling foolish, for a waiter to check on us or offer us drinks. After about 30 minutes, I approached the server who had initially helped us, asking if someone could assist us. She acknowledged me and then vanished. Another waitress came by with a rather unpleasant attitude, asking if she could take our plates away as if we were being rushed out, without offering anything else. She cleared our plates and then, with a snippish demeanor, handed us the dessert menu. The service was dreadful! We took our family for what we thought would be a great experience, but it ended up being a big letdown."

We love Fogo de Chão. My son especially greatly enjoys coming there and he can do the meats at a half-price option. It’s really wonderful to also have the salad bar option. Our entire family greatly enjoys coming. The food is fantastic and the service is impeccable.

A nice improvement from the last time I was here a year ago. They seemed to have gotten it better together. I was disappointed that there was no Caipirinha cart. Staff welcoming and attentive. Unfortunately, waiter broke cork on bottle while opening it, never made eye contact with us, and would always turn his back while speaking about the menu options. He also did not follow appropriate wine service etiquette- obviously someone with limited experience. The parade of meats became somewhat congested having multiple cuts of meats arrive at our table at the same time rather than pacing the experience. "just adding to address the response. I do take back that you didn't offer an apology, you did. Sorry. However, our conversation and your response still do not address my chief complaint , which was not that your portion sizes were too large but that the person that picked up the phone should have suggested we had too much food and maybe we should cut back on one or tow portion sizes, especially since I made it clear how unsure I was and was looking for her guidance. That is the crux of my issue. i have been a regular patron for decades, by dining in or in some or in this case ordered in. i asked the receptionist for some guidance for 6 people, telling her we wanted 6-7 dishes. We were 6 people with average appetites and half the food is leftover. i understand that 1.5 orders feeds 4-6 people but what the receptionist should have told me once she knew we were ordering that many dishes we should have ordered less dishes ordered the single size portion in some if not all cases. Case in point, she suggested 2 full size trays of garlic bread (which was horrible btw) and 3/4 of it was left over. I unnecessarily spent an exorbitant amount of money on a 6 person meal, trusted the receptionist and should have received better guidance when ordering that many things. when i called back 2 days later to express my feelings to the manager, he basically offered me a refund for the garlic bread, not taking any responsibility for being totally misguided. LP has been doing this for decades and should KNOW that the more the dishes, cut back on the portion sizes...... Had i received a bit more of a token gesture and a small apology, you wouldn't be reading this review. DG"
