"Not the fanciest of places (a lot of the dining area is used as storage and many smaller tables are unusable)…but the food hit the spot. Great portions (had to take some home) and flavors were spot on. Fast service and friendly staff. I ordered the SpicyPad Ped which is flavored with chili, garlic, onions, bell peppers, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, long beans, and fresh basil. Gotthe summer rolls as well. Slightly disappointed that you had to order the rice separately."

"First time here with my hubs and MIL. We all ordered the special which was scallops and jumbo shrimp with butter white wine sauce. Ambiance Complimentary Bread: Garlic Bread with side Order marinara sauce Jumbo shrimp with scallops pasta with spinach and mushroom. My dish tasted watered down pasta. There was really no taste. I ate all the shrimp and scallops bc it was the only thing you could taste. The pasta had zero taste. Even after I added lemon and 3 Tbsp of Parmesan cheese. I could hardly taste anything. It looked like the scallops were not whole but sliced into 4 pieces. My husband ate all his dish. My MIL ate most of her food. My dish for some reason was missing the taste and very watered down. Although my dish did not have taste, I am hoping to give them another chance by coming back to try another pasta dish in future. I recommend this place."

"Such a neat vibe, and beautiful location- but the food left much to be desired. Out of the 4 of us, everyone had something off with their dishes. I ordered the fish and chips and the slaw with it was damp, season less, and honestly the worst I’ve ever had. My brother and boyfriend ordered the poke nachos, and those tasted like the poke was from a grocery store and had way too much sauce. My boyfriend’s sister ordered the Kalua pork nachos and it was frustrating that we had to pay an additional $2 for jalapeños, which seems like a standard for nachos- right?? Overall I had a decent experience, but I don’t think we’ll be returning unfortunately."

"We came in on a Wednesday evening and had to wait for a bit for a table to open up, which was fine since we were in no rush. The dining area is a bit small, so probably better to order takeout ahead of time. Service was hospitable, attentive, and checked in on us frequently. Before we even ordered, they started us off with some miso soup. We ordered a four different kinds of rolls and the chirashi bowl. You can't tell from the photo, but there is a bed of rice underneath the lettuce and sashimi pieces in the chirashi bowl. Order came out within 10-15 minutes. All the fish were fresh, and I like how they plated the Red Spider and Dragonfly rolls. Just to address those who take offense to imitation crab meat: Most places do. Aside from spider rolls (which typically use soft shell crab), majority of rolls use imitation crab meat due to cost and availability. It's unrealistic to expect REAL crab meat in all your rolls (which we had in our Red Spider) AND be paying the prices that Sushi Spot charges. The cost of four rolls and a chirashi bowl plus tax and tip ended up being $80, which I thought was perfectly reasonable. Is Sushi Spot the most amazing sushi I've had? No. But for the service, quality, and price, Sushi Spot hits the spot for me, and if I lived in the area, I would gladly make it one of my to-go takeout lunch spots."

"We had a lunch gathering at work and I was able to try Queen's St. Cafe Grill for the first time. I checked their menu on Yelp and their entrees plate lunch included a choice of white rice, brown rice, or mashed potatoes and a choice of salad with dressing, pasta salad, or mac salad. You can also ordered two entrees as a combo for a plate lunch. I ordered the salmon katsu and firecracker chicken combo with mashed potatoes and mac salad. Their salmon katsu was a little dry and on the thinner side. It also came with a wasabi aioli or tartar sauce and I chose the wasabi aioli. The aioli sauce was good adds flavor and a spicy kick to the katsu. There were two salmon katsu pieces since this was a combo. The firecracker chicken was the most recommended per other Yelp reviews. The chicken was large with sweet chili sauce and what I assume was their dynamite sauce. The chicken was good but it didn't have much seasoning. I would preferred more of the firecracker sauce on top. The mashed potatoes were good. It was galicky and smooth. The mac salad was also good. Overall, this place plate lunch was affordable with large portion. One plate lunch was good for 2-3 meals. I was full after eating 2 pieces of firecracker chicken and 1 piece salmon katsu."
