"Calling all sushi lovers! If you love sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri and the like but don't want to drive all the way into town, then look no further! Located off of Moanalua road in aiea sushi spot is serving up some of the most tasty sushi in the area. This little mom and pop restaurant has roughly 8-10 tables and is the perfect little hole in the wall spot to take someone for a nice dinner without having to drive all the way in to town. Today I got to try two of their signature rolls: the red dragon, and Calvin's choice. Both rolls were huge ! Although most rolls are a one biter, these were so huge I really had a hard time just trying to get everything into one bite! I also got to try their sashimi deluxe, along with their salmon nigiri. Everything here is made to order, fresh and delicious! 10/10 I will definitely have to come back to try more stuff. Go check them out if you haven't already!!"

Spicy hamachi to die for. Sushi in Hawaii is way better than mainland sushi. Next time we're in Honolulu, were definitely coming back.

this place used to be really good but now they give very skinny pieces of fish and rice and the quality of the fish is definitely lower too. i couldn't even eat the hamachi because it was almost half bloodline!!! couldn't believe it!! and the spicy ahi wasn't fully mixed but still tasted ok. i used to get full from same amount of food here but now i'm still hungry. so disappointing.

I've ordered takeout from them several times. The sushi is always fresh and the service was attentive and friendly. There are many parking spots in the lot in front of the restaurant. The place is small so you have to wait a while to dine in. I highly recommend checking them out. I only usually give reviews if it’s really good or really bad. This is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on a tremendous little sushi shop. Hidden in a little outlet, sits a great food stop who has, not only great food and service, but reasonable prices given how high most are in Hawaii. Thankyou Sushi Spot! This is the best sushi I have ever tasted! I recommend the Calvin’s choice roll. The staff here are kind, friendly and attentive. Our food came out quickly and was of the highest quality and freshness imaginable. All of the sauces were house made with beautiful presentation. Plus, there was plenty of parking which is a bonus. My boyfriend is a frequent visitor of Oahu because of the military. He has always told me this is hands down his favorite sushi spot (literally) in Hawaii. I am a sushi fanatic so my first night here visiting he brought me here and I was NOT disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the staff was so incredibly helpful and friendly. Once we ordered, our sushi was at our table in less than 5 minutes which is the fastest I've ever got my sushi anywhere ever.
