Had a fantastic meal tonight with a great waiter and attentive manager. Recommend the Lachsentferner with the Glazed White Fish. Vesuvio and garlic glaze. Manager sent over 6 freshly baked cookies as a comp.

Frank Betsies is a delightful experience! The restaurant is the perfect size for a cozy and delicious dinner. The cocktail and wine selection is outstanding, and the desserts are a must-try. After dining here several times, I can confidently say that Frank Betsies has never let me down.

This is an amazing discovery! It’s a charming, cozy restaurant in Glencoe with incredible food and a staff that treats you like family. We enjoyed the butternut squash soup (the best I’ve ever tasted), a fresh and crispy Caesar salad, delicious Amish duck, and fantastic lamb shanks. Our server, Jennifer, was very friendly and attentive, and the owner, Michael, is so warm and welcoming that you instantly feel at home. Dining here feels like having a meal at a lovely cafe in Europe, making it feel like a romantic getaway.

I’m reluctant to share this delightful gem with others, as I don’t want to see it change. However, I can’t help but rave about the exquisite duck, featuring perfectly crispy skin and tender, juicy meat, served with a tangy cherry sauce and beautifully arranged vegetables. The salads are fresh and perfectly dressed, while the soups are light and expertly seasoned. My sister usually opts for the succulent lamb chops, which are often sold out due to their popularity. We’re planning to have lunch there today. It’s rare to find such attention to detail in ingredients, preparation, and presentation these days.
