"Completely vegan. This is not my first visit to Shine Cafe. Good/friendly customer service(every visit so far). The food that I have tried has been good. I would like to see some more Asian themed recipes and Indian inspired cuisines. Otherwise aspreviously stated: Good/friendly customer service. The food that I have tried has been good.???? This visit I tried the packa box (the menu calls it pack a bowl) can also be ordered as a pack a burrito. It taste good and looks good. I ordered minewith spinach, tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, quinoa, black beans, cabbage, jack fruit, tempeh, avocadodo, kale, cilantrodressing. All of the veggies are very fresh, and the beans, jack fruit, quinoa, tempeh are good as well, and also freshlyprepared. I gave 3-? because, I can only give an overall review. In my opinion, the food that I have tried (all visits) service are 5-? Oh. And all of the portion sizes are enough food for two people or easily two meals."

"I would rate this restaurant as a 3.75 out of 5. I ordered the Chicken Fajitas and they were really good and unique. The sauce on the dish was a sweet and mildly spicy chili sauce that had a wonderful taste. However, the sides were a bit disappointing for me. The rice was bland and the beans were undercooked. The guacamole was good, but it didn't really complement the fajitas well. Our server was efficient and knowledgeable. The restaurant was busy due to Mother's Day weekend, but they handled the rush well. I will definitely come back to try other dishes and will provide an update."

"We started with a cheese board appetizer, which was delicious and featured an interesting selection, although it was a bit small for $14. The scallops, however, were quite disappointing – they were small and not enjoyable. In contrast, the three large scallops I had were cooked to perfection and served on a bed of seasonal fruits for $30, and they were absolutely amazing! Others in our group had steak and short ribs, which were also highly recommended. The service was very accommodating, especially when there was a bit of confusion about our bill. I plan to return for another special dinner when I want to treat myself. I've also heard wonderful things about their Sunday brunch."

"One of the BEST restaurants on the Central Coast! The restaurant overlooks Morro Bay and has a calming, clean, and upscale environment to dine in. Every single employee that we have interacted with, whether it is the busboy, waitress OR manager, ALL without exception, have been friendly and professional. And THAT has been consistent over the years. HOW do they DO THAT?! I have had the BEST Seafood Louis there. It had a HUGE amount of crab, bay shrimp, and prawns. . . all of it as fresh as could be! The grilled fish plates have been delicious too! You can 't go wrong with ANYTHING that you order here! But here is a secret. . . They also have the best dessert on the Central Coast! Their 'house made ' MUD PIE! It 's made with a dark chocolate crust, mocha almond ice cream, and topped with a chocolate ganache loaded with toasted almonds (deep breath . . . We have even ordered the dessert 'to go ', for a special treat. Nothing compares with it, anywhere, anytime. In fact, they may need to have a 12 step program for it! ; Just taste and see for yourself!"

"As for the Pad Kee Mow, we ordered it spicy, and let me tell you—it was SPICY! But shouldnt all great Thai food have a little kick? It was perfectly spicy, just on the verge of being intense, without overwhelming the flavors. Both dishes were incredibly flavorful. Plus, everything is packaged for takeout in high-quality containers, which I can imagine are not cheap, but they keep Noi's dishes in perfect condition until you reach your beach overlook destination and are ready to enjoy your meal. This is the best Thai food I’ve had in years! Though it’s tucked away in a somewhat hidden area of Los Osos, CA, this little gem is definitely worth seeking out to enjoy some passionately prepared food. We will certainly be back!"
