"Reviews are fake. Bad place to get food from. Ordered a pasta and it Came in a small salad container which meant to be for cold food not hot ones. The sauce was separated from the pasta itself and they slap a huge basil leaf on it. No meat, no cheese, no Butter, no bread, and no utensils for $12. Pasta is hard and the sauce is so water down. There is a girl behind the counter is doing absolutely nothing but staring at costumers in a rude way and telling them what to put on their food while they ordering. The cashier guy was so confused about everything I said. No masks, no gloves, no respect for costumers and no order line system. Mexican pizzeria would do a 10 times better job than these idiots for $9. I want my money back."

This is the best pizza, hands down. Update: it's still the best in 2023. Absolutely amazing!

Unbelievable pizza. Sicilian pizza is especially great. The salads and the penne a la vodka are also surprisingly large.

The pizza here is incredible, particularly the Sicilian variety, which is outstanding. The salads and the penne a la vodka are surprisingly amazing as well.

They used to be fantastic, but something has changed. The pizza is decent, but it doesn't compare to how great it used to be. The atmosphere feels more like that of a budget slice shop.

The atmosphere was quite noisy, with children running around and playing in front of the TV. The pizza is better than at other places on the Upper West Side, but the slices tend to be a bit dry after reheating.

The restaurant was quite noisy, with the television blaring and kids running around, shouting and playing. However, the pizza is superior to other places in the Upper West Side. That said, the slices tend to be too dry after they've been reheated. View menu

I had a long day at work and was craving penne vodka. The first bite was delicious, but I found a hair in the second bite. Despite that, I’m giving it 5 stars because I understand how important feedback is, and I would definitely give them another chance.

The pizza here is definitely delicious, but I recommend being careful when you call in for pickup or delivery. The woman who answers the phone is quite abrasive. When I called to place a delivery order, she gave me a rather blunt list of what she needed: my address, phone number, whether I’d be paying with card or cash, and the card number. It felt very rude and demanding. Since their website doesn’t show the square pizza options, I asked what was available today, and she responded, "Sir, I’m not going to go over the square pies with you today." That was really unhelpful and not particularly friendly.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
