"I came here for a show, they do concerts and stand up shows in a side room of the restaurant. I didn't eat but I did have a cocktail, which was 20 bucks (which is totally fine in la). The show was well executed, both in terms of the timing and the sound system. The restaurant is a take on the classic suburban American Chinese destination restaurant, epitomized by drinks like the mai Tai and cream cheese crab won ton appetizers. Unclear to me why one would eat here beyond the vibes, but certainly the full bar makes a visit worth while. Would for sure recommend seeing a show here. Parking: Kinda tough"

Great vibes, excellent food, and surprisingly reasonable prices considering. Loved the NYC style egg rolls!

Food was okay. The fried rice was missing onions, they just added Peas, corn and egg. It just needs a little more flavor. Atmosphere was great and service.

I have been coming to Melrose since the 90s and I have never known this place was here. Loved it and highly recommend it. The food and atmosphere were great.

Food was tasty and served in generous portions. The Queen Chicken is a must try. The walnut shrimp crab rangoons were very good. The bbq spare ribs are a pass. Recommend it for an upgrade to your standard fast Chinese food. View menu

Great place for a fantastic evening. Very accommodating, beautiful on the inside, great photo ops. Food was decent, nice bar, and amazing venue for live music. Saw a couple of local bands, (Flamango Bay) that were so much fun! Great night!

The atmosphere is great. The food is average for what you pay service can hit or miss. I enjoy going. Parking is free but could be hit or miss as well. Very small lot so might not find a spot. It definitely has a Chinese restaurant that would probably be open on Christmas day.

Great experience here. We came for an early dinner at 6 PM before a comedy show. I made a reservation, but the restaurant was pretty empty at this time. Service was warm and efficient, and we got our food and drinks quickly. Everything was good quality, and the ambiance was great. The restaurant has its own parking lot too. View menu

Love this place!! The atmosphere, the service and food all 100%. My husbands always orders the walnut shrimp it is really good with a creamy sauce. The crispy orange beef peel is amazing as well as the spring rolls. The lo main noodles are really good too.. all is big enough to share so I recommended getting a few different dishes and sharing with everyone. They have music in the side room you, the night we were there it was an additional $15 but well worth it, the talent was amazing.

I had a fun time... We went around 3pm. Food came fast and hot. Some reviews said the food was cold, I don't know what they were talking about egg rolls burnt my tongue, the butterfly shrimp was super hot as well, I had to wait for them to cool down before eating. The Catfish held its heat well and was still steaming well into dinner. My go to dish and benchmark, is always the Honey walnut shrimp. Theirs was excellent. I live in the neighborhood and drove by here all the time but never dropped in I was not disappointed. My guest use to come here 20yrs ago and she loved it.

"I never leave bad reviews when I can help, but from our experience last night I only had to say for dinner as a whole was so disappointing, the least and after the output it was just a complete bill. if they come here for a nice dinner, they have great food or steaks please skip. go somewhere else food: we ordered the oysters, lobster bisque, bread basket (the btw is) and the tomahawk steak with sides. the entire meal was nothing special, characterized by the fact that even though our server always say that its just come out of the often his hot we have the broth basket roomtemp and the lobster bisque as a think. none of them were served hot. I give these stars only because of the tomahawk steak in the middle well, it was delicious. it was a hope that it would be good, right? we ordered the familiar and the brussels sprouts, but it came out, served on small dust sacks. small portions. a little taste. Note: they no longer serve the special measurable and sauce for any steak order. bummer ambiance service: la boucherie is on the floor of the hotel so that the prospects in the night are amazing. server were nice and polite. they were attentive and very professional. everything in all, if I can turn back the time, I wouldn't be here at all. the evening has lost its elegance and prices do not justify the disappointing food. I hope they can fix this and bring back the old la boucherie charme and aromen."
