"I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. The service is awful, the food is mediocre at best and overpriced. We noticed staff smoking either in the kitchen or at the back of the restaurant, which shouldn't be happening. When we requested bread to accompany our salad, we waited half an hour only for it to arrive with several used, empty plastic butter containers scattered among the stale pieces of bread. The response we received was simply, "Oh sorry, they didn't notice, the kitchen's busy," which felt insincere. The manager or owner, who was mingling with other customers, didn’t even offer an apology or acknowledge our experience. If you can, skip this place."

BYOB Italian family business restaurant in a strip shopping center. We have great wine, are part of an Italian winery. So come for solid food, made at home pasta and friendly faces, which could be better. Only cash, but very good prices.

We're here a lot. Always good, friendly and fast service. Traditional Italian. Sometimes a little crowded and loud, but worth a moment. It's a little restaurant. The negative check must have been carried out by a competitor or a crank person who does not eat very often.

Met a friend here for dinner and had one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had in Phoenix. I tried the Pasta Alex (I believe it's called) and was delighted by the flavor and portion. It can get a bit crowded and noisy at times, but the experience is well worth any wait. Since it's a small place, that’s to be expected. The negative review likely came from a competitor or someone who doesn’t dine out much.

Just a heads-up: it’s a BYOB place, so we made a quick stop at a nearby store to grab a bottle of wine. Also, they only accept cash, so be sure to bring some with you, or you might need to find an ATM. The owner, or at least we think he was, was wandering around the restaurant, chatting with guests and even sitting down at tables to engage in friendly conversation. He seemed like a genuinely nice person. If you’re in the area and craving Italian food, I highly recommend checking out Ristorante Giuseppe!

Be sure to bring cash, as they don’t accept credit cards. If you’re concerned about their drink selection, feel free to bring your own alcohol. The prices are fantastic, and they even have a restroom available, which is a plus! The food quality is outstanding. The owner is Italian, and all the dishes are made from authentic Italian recipes. The staff is friendly, especially Giuseppe, who is great. Their eggplant, chicken, and pork parmigiana are fantastic, especially when paired with the delicious pasta on the side. This is truly the best Italian food I’ve had in Scottsdale! I highly recommend it!

I stopped by for lunch and ordered Giuseppe's Sub, an Italian-style mixed meat sandwich. It truly captured the essence of an East Coast sub, boasting the perfect balance of meat, cheese, vegetables, and dressing. The bread was exceptional, which is surprising considering how many places struggle to get a sub right. This experience has convinced me that I need to come back to try their traditional Old World dishes!
