"I would consider myself a local. I've lived in AZ for over 12 yrs. With that said my dad was in the military so I moved around a lot. Born in the Philippines, visited Korea, and lived in Okinawa for a good chunk of my childhood. With all that said I grew up eating food from everywhere. Got Sushi is the real deal. Food taste authentic and delicious. This place use to have some tables that were set up for Korean BBQ. Omg... my favorite! A few years ago they did a little remodel and took out the tables that were for the BBQ. My favorite dish was still on the menu Beef Bulgogi so I will always go back for that. My son and I went Saturday. Of course I got the beef bulgogi. We also ordered some sushi and shrimp tempura. The food here never disappoints. If I could request anything, it would be bringing back the kimchi. Kimchi and beef bulgogi is to die for!! Great... writing about it has made me hungry Check out Got Sushi!!"

I have been going here for 15-20 years? Since COVID, they got rid of their good employees, teppanyaki tables and quality of sushi rolls. Makes me so sad to see that this place has gone so far downhill. Currently looking for a new sushi place.

Not a fan of this place anymore. The fish smelled like it was old and the servers have a hard time understanding what they are asked. They were nice, just a small communication issue. I don't know what happened because this place used to be much better. View menu

The older woman that serves is rude. She will come up to your table before you finish eating and ask that you pay? If you give her too much money, she will keep it and assume that 's her tip. If you don 't tip enough, she will return to your table and ask for more money. "Very shameful "Save your money and go elsewhere

This place truly serves the best quality sashimi and sushi compared to other AYCE sushi restaurants in the valley. Chef Kim and staff members were very nice and friendly to us and i love the cozy and relaxing atmosphere here. Without a doubt, this place is now my preferred sushi destination for post-work dinners ?Food: 5/5

Really great service fast and friendly! Miso soup came complimentary. The edamame was fresh and steamed perfectly. The sushi chef helped me pick out which rolls I would like best! Loved all 7 of them! Had my birthday dinner here and came out with green tea icecream! So happy and wonderful! My new favorite place for sushi and for a birthday dinner. View menu

I try giving positive comments when we can or just don't review. But this was not a good experience at all. We saw the good ratings so we gave it a try but we quickly regretted it. They gave us 2 rolls and some sashimi that was visibly not good and they didn't enter one of my boys orders until after I asked them a couple of times. Safe to say we will not be coming back here.

I’ve been here twice, food is good, expensive, service was horrible both times. Our server could not speak English so it was very hard to order, she kept messing up our order and bringing us the wrong thing. She kept taking our menus away even when we told her we weren’t done ordering. She made us feel like she wanted us to leave. The first time our server completely disappeared on us, she only came back to give us the check and ignored us the rest of the time. Food is good, I would recommend food pick up or Order to go.
