"The pork plate came with a very small amount of pork. The macaroni and cheese tasted like it was from a Kraft boxed mix. The flounder sandwich was supposed to have no tomatoes and extra pickles, but instead, I received it with tomatoes and no lettuce. The French fries were the cheap, shoestring variety. Overall, I would say it wasn't worth nearly $40. On a positive note, both the flounder and pork had good flavor."

What a terrible excuse of food. They annoy the French toast, this is the worst attempt of the French toast I have ever seen. The worst it tastes

I absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing, and even though the waitress and the gentleman we chatted with were nowhere near old enough to be my grandparents, the conversation and the interaction felt incredibly warm and meaningful. View menu

During our trip to Missouri, we unexpectedly discovered and spent the night in Ston-Haschee, FL. What a lovely surprise by the sea! While we were there, we found Opas Cafe, and it turned out to be a delightful little spot that serves a delicious breakfast. I absolutely loved it!

The country-fried steak was so small that it hardly seemed worth paying for. It looked like they had run out and only had one order, which they split between the two of us. It was barely half the size of my palm. The home fries weren’t fresh-cut potatoes; instead, they were just small frozen precooked pieces. Given the prices, I expected much more from the meal. This was my second disappointment with them.

"This restaurant boasts a fantastic location, accessible by boat or via the front entrance for those walking, biking, or driving. A group of us decided to dine in and ordered a variety of items, including pizza, subs, and cheesy bread. Everything was fresh and delicious. However, I found it puzzling that they charge extra for lettuce and tomato on subs—$2 per sub for just a small portion! That seems a bit outrageous to me, considering toppings are typically included with subs. Our order of two subs, cheesy bread, and two cups of water came to $37, which feels quite steep for just sandwiches. The meatball sub was generously filled with marinara sauce, meatballs, and lots of cheese. The ham and cheese sub was packed with filling and served on nicely baked bread. There is ample seating both indoors and outdoors, offering a lovely view of the water. The staff was pleasant, though not overly friendly, and you have to request plasticware or plates. Would I return? Sure, if I was craving something quick. However, I wouldn't typically spend that much for a couple of subs for dine-in. Overall, the food was decent, but I'm hesitant about the prices—even acknowledging that costs have risen everywhere. If you're looking for hot and fresh takeaway, this is a good option. But for a sit-down dinner, I might choose a different place. **Service:** Dine-in **Meal Type:** Dinner **Price per Person:** $10–20 **Food:** 4/5 **Service:** 4/5 **Atmosphere:** 5/5"

"We rented 3 units from Fiddler’s at the Steinhatchee Landing Resort. Our units were 7, 8, and 9 of the Victorian House. The space and location on the property was great. The actual building and inside the building was not. The place is falling apart, it needs so much work. The outside and deck areas were not even functioning and inside was gross. The carpet needs to be completely ripped out. There are stains EVERYWHERE. I didn’t even let my children walk around without shoes on. They do not provide any type of cleaning products, so if someone spills something on the carpet, oh well, it’s there to stay. No cleaner to spray down your kitchen countertops and only one roll of paper towels, toilet paper, and 1-2 garbage bags. My main issue was how filthy the entire place was. I would never stay here again and am very skeptical of any properties that Fiddler’s manages. The only positive I can say is that when we communicated with one of the managers, Shelby, she was wonderful. She cared about our complaints and tried her best to make things right. She did come right over and bring us some kitchen towels and dish soap when we arrived because we didn’t have any and she came over before we checked out to hear about our issues. Another major problem was the washing machine in unit 9 was broken our entire week and I found a review on another site from a year ago that said it was also broken. That’s a bit of a problem with a family of four who are out scalloping all week and really need to wash towels and clothes."
