"I've visited Gringos and Mariachis about four times now—three times for happy hour and once for dinner—and I've consistently had a great experience! Highlights include $6 drinks during happy hour from 3 to 6 pm on weekdays, $6 appetizers (my favorite are the Sopes), delicious ceviche and the Torta de Milanesa for dinner, a great selection of mixed drinks, and some good beers on tap (I usually stick to a classic Blue Moon). My favorite part of the restaurant is definitely the vibe. Inside, it's romantic and lively, perfect for a date night, while the patio offers a more casual and friendly atmosphere, great for chatting and relaxing. The music is fantastic, featuring lots of Bad Bunny and some throwbacks. If you're coming for happy hour, I recommend sitting outside; if you're out for a date, the inside is the way to go! The service has always been excellent, with servers checking in frequently. Just yesterday, I tried dinner for the first time and was blown away by the Chicken Milanesa Torta. It’s a traditional Mexican sandwich you don’t find everywhere, and the combination of black beans with the breaded chicken was the perfect way to end the evening. My only minor complaint is that the sandwich was served on the wrong bread—it’s traditionally made with bolillo or pan francés. Also, it was a bit pricey, but that’s typical for the DMV area. I’ll definitely be coming back to Gringos and Mariachis as often as possible to explore more from their menu!"

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are excellent. The service is also top-notch. I had some Mexican street food, but the highlight was definitely the Margaritas. They were incredibly delicious.

Great service, delicious drinks—get the jalapeño cucumber margarita. The carne asada is better than I imagined. The fish tacos are popping with flavor, and the tres leches is super yummy. First-timer. Will return.

Absolutely delicious Mexican cuisine! I highly recommend the birria quesadillas. The service was quick, and our server was both attentive and friendly. The quality and variety of dishes are excellent, and the portions are impressive for the price.

First off, the drinks here are fantastic. The food never disappoints—you really can’t go wrong, especially with the happy hour menu featuring small tapas plates. The eloté is absolutely the best. Order a variety and share with your group. The bartenders are incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is always lively and enjoyable. I’ve never had a bad experience at either the Bethesda or Park Potomac location. Enjoy! View menu

This restaurant offers authentic Mexican street food with a twist. The fresh and flavorful options are consistently good. The guacamole is a must-try and the duck confit nachos are a popular choice. The beer selection is varied and the margaritas are excellent. The prices are reasonable, with a great Happy Hour special, and the restaurant has two convenient locations. Overall, Eßerei is a great choice for a casual meal.

Even here after the long pandemic, food is still good, not the place we sit this time. We choose outside to avoid the crowd. The first place we sit down is under the canopy and it's so loud that I couldn't hear. So we wanted to see tables on the street. It was much quieter, but when the wind blows the wrong way, we can smell the garbage dumps, which often happens. Next time, I'm gonna sit inside. For food, I tried the braided beef, and it's the best taco of all kinds I tried.

Not great for dinner. Came after a comedy show and it was one of the few places open. I got excited when I saw mole on the menu because I hadn?t had it in years. The sauce was really good but the chicken breasts were squishy. When I?ve had it before, thechicken was shredded and not full breasts. The salsa was good but the chips were so hard. The tacos had nothing with them. Theywere just okay. The place looks cool and the waitress was great. Maybe it?s just good for the bar??????????? View menu

First time here, I came for ceviche! I sat in bar area, an had shots. They offer a fish ceviche and shrimp ceviche separate so I asked the server if they were able to mix it and they were able to which was really good. It taste amazing, only thing that was a little off putting was green apples inside of the ceviche which wasn’t bad it was just a very unexpected crunch to the dish but overall this was a really good ceviche. I picked them out an ate them last. It wasn’t served with anything. Service and atmosphere were both a delight, I would return here when in area. I saw someone being served the fajitas and it smelled and looked amazing I definitely want to try that next.

I was with my wife here Sunday afternoon, we want try this place, one because we always looking for a place with pet friendly. 2 we like good food and service. Well this place was a big mistake! Eva (our service) she didn?t care about good services at all.We order a guacamole which was $14 and it was ok we don?t mind paying. My wife order a mango margarita which was terrible! Wealso order a mix fajita (shrimp steak) which Eva never ask me if I want my steak well done/médium well. Well according to ourserve they don?t ask they just do well done. So they don?t care about how customer like or want they food! Wow! So I sent mymeat back and have to wait 20min if not more time for my fajitas! This...
