"We're growing more more disjointed with Guillermo's Restaurante based on our past two visits. We had intended on a nice dinner after shopping. We went to order a glass of wine and were told we could only purchase wines by the bottle. We both drink a different wine and didn't want a bottle, we simply wanted a glass or two. So we gave up on that and just drank table-water. The salsa that came with chips and salsa tasted like tomato soup. Big disappointment. We both ordered carne asada. It was probably the poorest presentation of a meal that we've ever had in the valley, but I will concede that it actually tasted pretty good. They only brought one order of tortillas to split between out two meals. The guacamole, all you could taste was lime. They've traditiallny had the best guack in the valley. At that point we weren't going to tempt fate and order dessert or order an after dinner drink. I think the staff was probably glad to see us go. We took some friends last spring, they'd heard so much good about the food and dining experaince, and by the time we were done, we were kind of embarrassed for taking them to Guillermos. We are sad to see the decline but hopeful reviews like ours can help get them back on track."

Always the best food and service. We took my mom here for an early mother's day lunch.

I loved it! A little pricey but worth it! I had the Carnitas which were excellent! Great atmosphere, and good food!

Amazing experience! The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The skinny margarita and tres leches cake is a MUST! This is the place to go for authentic central Mexican food!

We had dinner here for the first time with friends. The salsa, guacamole and chips were really good as was my drink. The enchiladas were rather bland though — still edible. Service was really good. View menu

Authentic, quality, with great service. The owner is there and it's apparent they have a solid team in place that provides awesome service. I don't have a single favorite dish because I have many... Can't wait to go back.

Best mexican food in the desert and the ambiance was amazing! My friend and I shared a steak burrito and the chicken flautas which were both delicious! And our margaritas were such a treat. Glad I came across this gem and definitely coming back!

Amazing Mexican food? YES, please! We discovered this gem from our Uber driver and he didn’t steer us wrong. He told us it was gourmet Mexican without the large price tag. And that description was spot on. They brought chips and salsa, and we ordered guacamole. Guac was freshly made with huge chunks of avocado. Delish. We shared the Periquitos Rellenos de Camaron which is 4 Yellow Caribbean Chillies Stuffed With Shrimp Machaca and the shrimps fajitas. Wow! Both dishes exploded with flavor. Service was impeccable. Reservations are recommended. View menu

When I walked into the restaurant I immediately felt welcome. The service was amazing and the staff was so kind. They made it feel like we were apart of the family. After a short waiting period, the food showed up and we were all suprised on the level of detail and taste of the food. By far the best Mexican food I have ever had. This place was so good, my family had to return a couple days later and see if it was the same. With no suprise this time, the food was amazing again and the service was even better. I absolutely loved this place. I will make it my mission to return to this amazing establishment when I return to the city.

I have had a lot of friends recommend this restaurant, so we decided to try it out the other day. I have to say I was a little disappointed. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. We were seated up against what appears to be an abandoned bar that they no longer use with foot traffic going past us all the time. The rest of the dining room was empty, but they insisted on sitting there. The wait staff was very attentive, but I don 't think it warrants the value in the pricing that they want for their dishes. We had the carne asada plate, and the chili relleno. The carne asada plate was just flap meat. Again, it was good, but not great. The chili relleno was better than normal, but you can...

"Wow! What a gem. We stopped here for dinner and dessert and just had to come back for breakfast, and everything was exceptional. The soft serve ice cream (made with oat milk) that they have is my favorite vegan ice cream that I have ever had. It's amazing. They have shaded and comfy outdoor seating. For dinner we had the chili soup, some garlic bread, the Guadalajara burger, and the Chupacabra Chic'n sandwich. Everything was super full of flavor and delicious. For desert, we got an ice cream to split and a slice of chocolate cake. The ice cream was absolutely wonderful. The cake was the weakest point of the meal, a little dry. But, it was still tasty. We knew during dinner that we just had to come back for breakfast (and more ice cream). We ordered a bagel sandwich and a tostada. My partner loved his sandwich. He gave me a piece of the tofu on it, and I normally don't like tofu that isn't very crispy, but was super tasty and flavorful. My tostada had a bunch of guac on it (not just a tiny scoop like some places do), and the flavors of the beans and guac were rich. The jalapeños added a nice kick (although, I'm sure you could get it without them if you don't like spicy). The ice cream was, again, amazing. I also got an agua fresca that was really pleasant on the hot morning. The staff members were very nice, were happy to answer any of our questions, and were generally quite helpful. 10/10"
