"I have had a hard time finding real Carne Asada or steak in Provo Utah in general. The burrito had uncooked hard black beans, plain white rice with no flavor, cheese, and the steak did not not taste like real Asada or steak. The best authentic steak in Provo is located at red Fuego in Provo and Orem. This is authentic Peruvian food. Guru’s is expensive so you might as well pay for authentic delicious healthy food at red Fuego. It is a 12 out of 10!!! Guru’s: The pizza that my husband ordered h … – show"

Don’t order pizza here. Unless you want 5 lbs of cheese lol. Very bad

The cafe serves solid American cuisine with a nice variety of seafood, sandwiches, and pizza.

They offer a limited brunch menu on Sundays. Our eggs weren't fully cooked, and considering the price, I expected a better quality. View menu

Enjoyed it so much I went back to days later. The pizzas and the Maui wowie wrap were our favorites, with the curry not quite reaching those same levels

I love Gurus. Been going there since 2014. I haven't been there for 3 years, and everything still tastes amazing. Southwest wrap is my go to. Chips are on point. Oooo get some sweet potato fries. Their soups are awesome as well.

I really don't understand the hype. Everything I've tried from this restaurant has been either bland or undercooked, except for the sweet potato fries, which are great. Everyone in town seems to love this place, and I've made several attempts to find a dish I really enjoy, but I always end up eating a lot of fries and leaving most of my entrée untouched. View menu

This is a quaint little cafe in downtown Provo. They have a lot of options, so you are sure to find something you like. Be sure to get a basket of sweet potato fries to share around the whole table. It was very yummy and is a good value for the price. It was a little bit busy but there was still seating available. They have additional seating in the bakery section.

There's a reason this place is always packed- its delicious and has a fabulous vibe! My favorite thing to get is the blue cheese and steak quesadillas with their sweet potato fries. The shrimp tacos are my second favorite. You have to pay extra for the fries but they are worth it! Sometimes I go in just for an order of the fries. The wraps tend to be super drippy and never as good as I hope, but everything else I have tried keeps me coming back again and again!

"I feel torn on what to review Spicy Thai.. I had been years ago and remembered it being good. I came with some friends on a Friday evening. The restaurant was packed! We waited about 10 minutes before a table was ready no big deal. Our waiter took awhile to come and ask us what we wanted to drink. We browsed the menu and knew quickly what we all wanted to order. It took around 15 minutes for our waiter to come back after giving us our drinks and order our food. My husband and I ordered the egg rolls, pad Thai, and massman curry. The appetizer took around 20 minutes to come out, followed by the food about 20 more minutes. I know that it was a Friday night but the restaurant isn't that big. I don't know why it took so long to get our drinks and food. Our waiter brought the food and brought us the wrong curry. We had to ask for our massman curry. It was shortly brought out with no apology. The eggs rolls were tasty. They were very hot and full of filling. The chili sauce was the perfect amount of sweet and heat. The pad Thai was very good. It was a very generous portion and full of chicken which was a great surprise. The peanuts added a good texture. I was very impressed with this. The massman curry was only okay. It wasn't that flavorful and tasted like it was lacking or missing something. I did appreciate how much chicken was in it but would've liked to see more carrots and potatoes. The rice was cooked well. The food was nice and hot when it came out. It was very fresh. The reason for the three stars in the service. As mentioned above, it took awhile for all the food to come out. Our drinks were never refilled. After we got our food, our waiter never checked on us. We finished eating and had to ask a different waiter for boxes and our checks. The service needs to improve. I will be back for the food though."
