"I went there with friends for a vacationing weekend. This was the worst restaurant in Las Vegas. I ordered the filet minion, my beautiful girlfriend order the same and our friends order other beef dishes. The salads we were served was good and we enjoyedthe freshness and flavors. After that eperiance we thought this would continue on. When we received our main course we weredisappointed from the start. Our meat was not cooked to medium as we had asked and our vegetables were almost cold. When I payfor a meal at this cost level we do expect to have the restaurant raise up to the standards. I half expect this at McDonalds. Weended up leaving wth out finishing our meals, but did finish off the evening with a bang."

This restaurant is an excellent choice for an afternoon lunch, offering reasonable prices. The food is delicious—I tried the Angus Beef Burger, and it was fantastic. Although it's situated by the pool, the atmosphere is kept very cool and clean.

We had a wonderful experience with our meals every time we visited. We dined there for lunch daily and were never disappointed. The burgers and BLT sandwiches we ordered were fantastic. The service was excellent, and we encountered several staff members who were exceptionally professional and friendly. We enjoyed the food and service so much that it seemed unnecessary to go out searching for new restaurants all the time.

Unfortunately, our experience took a downturn as soon as our main courses arrived. The meat was not cooked to the medium doneness we had requested, and the vegetables were almost cold. Considering the prices charged, we anticipated a higher standard—something more akin to what I'd expect at a fast-food place like McDonald's. We ultimately left without finishing our meals, but thankfully we were able to cap off the evening on a positive note elsewhere. View menu

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
