"I'm from Chicago. The meal was one of the worst I ever had. The Tom kha soup had old dried peas in it. The broth was disgusting sweet and the chicken was boiled and dry. The gomae was in a sauce that had a terrible acidic taste. The roasted tofu was cold very dry and hard as old bread. Really one of the worst meals I had! It was a Friday at 4:30 and only 3 tables were full of 6 people at one table and 2 at the other 2. One waitress was slow and overwhelmed. I never have such bad reviews right. But this place is exceptionally bad!!"

Food was absolutely delicious. Beautiful space as well. I had the red curry, which had a perfect amount of heat. Also, the crab Rangoon was outstanding.

A bit empty and quiet. No one there on a Saturday night. Service was friendly. Food was a bit slow considering there was no one there. But good! The Hawaiian spicy tuna roll was a favorite

The restaurant was quite empty and quiet, with no patrons on a Saturday night. The service was friendly, but the food took a bit longer to arrive despite the lack of customers. However, the food was delicious! The Hawaiian spicy tuna roll was particularly enjoyed. View menu

Food was outstanding. I had the bipimbap. Just the right amount of spice and flavor. Sushi was fresh and delicious. Chicken satay was flavorful and moist. All items delicious. Waitress recommended delicious saki and was attentive but did not overdo. Overall just right

I am from Chicago and had one of the worst meals I've ever had at this restaurant. The tom kha soup was disappointing with old, dried out peas and a disgustingly sweet broth with boiled and dry chicken. The gomae had a sauce with an awful sour taste and the fried tofu was cold, dry, and hard like old bread. It was a Friday at 4:30 pm and only 3 tables were full, with 6 people at one table and 2 at the other. The waitress working was slow and overwhelmed. I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place was exceptionally bad.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
