"As someone who grew up in Jersey City in the 90s and 00s, I came here looking for an ole fashioned Jersey City style slice, and was not disappointed! Delicious pizza, with the cheese perfectly melty. Bonus, the garlic knots were also very good. I hope Helen 's stays open for a long, long time but given that it is surrounded by the The Gentrifiers (Tm) up and down Newark Ave., I am cynical about its prospects to withstand the onslaught of more hip hipster? pizza places in the area. In the meantime, I will frequent Helen 's and support its business while its still around."

The hot and cold subs are huge and very good. Affordable pricing compared to other places, and still tasty.

Customer service is horrible! Pizza just as bad. Not sure what is going on here. Avoid this place like the plague.

It's a lovely spot with excellent service and delicious pizza. The chicken soup is outstanding! I highly recommend this place. Food: 5/5

Food order was not taken correctly and nothing was done to alleviate the issue other than waiting 20 minutes longer, and no compensation for their error. View menu

Terrible customer service. I waited nearly two hours for delivery. I called the store twice, they were rude and unapologetic. The food was cold. I would not recommend.

white pizza (8/10), margherita (8/10 I like the tomato sauce, the mozzarella and basil) and Valentino (8/10, the cheese at the bottom is really tasty). The crust is soft. lasagna, hawaiian greek, special pizzas are just fine. The service needs some improvement.Food: 4/5 View menu

Very mean customer service! My mother called to place an order for delivery yesterday and the man on the line was very rude and impatient and yelling at her. At the end of the call she said he called her a malaka? and hung up, apparently it’s a Greek curse word. Just ridiculous. Delivery was slow, too. Never again!

Wanted to try the pizza and food here! It's alright, not bad! Nothing special, but it's decent if you want a quick slice or two! I ordered a personal pie, presentation wasn't that great. The crust is on the soft and chewy side, the sauce tastes like they added sugar to it not quite sure, but the cheese was okay! The garlic knots are really good though! ??

"I love Vibez! Def good vibes too,and always nice to support a local minority owned business. And even though I have a blender and juicer, I visit frequently (it's literally a block away so I pass it all the time). A lot of great juice/smoothie options and a lot of choices for making your own. I'm not vegan/veg so I was never inclined to try the food out but wow when I had the lentil patty I was blown away, much better than a traditional beef patty, the crust is super flaky and the lentils are perfectly seasoned. I'd say definitely a go-to of mine, and can't wait to try other food items there. I hate to leave off with something negative, but there is an employee there that sometimes takes a really long time to complete an order, I'd call in a for pickup and often times would be waiting 15-20 minutes for my drink to be ready. And another time I ordered a drink with mint and it was extract instead of fresh mint, which I had no idea otherwise I wouldn't have ordered with it. When I took a sip it was super overwhelming and honestly bad tasting. I asked if she could make the drink again (well more so pleased because she wasn't with it at first), but I think she just poured out half and added more apple juice because I could still taste it. I didn't want to push the inside, but I think fresh mint should be an option since extract can over power other flavors and leave a bad after taste. With that being said, I will still frequent Vibez and it's a great option to have in the heights."
