"We made it to Helios’ Hideaway 30 minutes before they closed, but our party of five was met with warmth and we didn’t feel rushed at all. I had high expectations based on the reviews, yet the food still surpassed those. The pita was chewy and fresh (wish we’d gotten more! , the chicken in our pitas was flavorful, the lettuce and other produce crisp and fresh, and the bite I had of my daughter’s Icarus salad with fig vinaigrette was shockingly good. Great hummus and baba ganoush, too. Husband and daughter loved the couscous with lemon and basil. The flavors of everything really stayed with me for the rest of the day. Service was among the best I’ve had anywhere. The location, tucked away in a charming little shopping center (for lack of a better word , was wonderful we loved the outdoor seating by the live oak. So grateful they stay open in the off season so we could enjoy it. It’s a gem in an already magical place, and we’re eager to return!"

Biscuits were raw, with uncooked dough. Gravy was broken and separated. The spanikopita was filled with poorly seasoned spinach that tastes like it came from a can.

I ordered a Greek salad to take onto ferry heading home. It was outstanding!! Highly recommend this a s a refreshing carry out. Fresh pita side was also very good. Helios, we will return!!

Pass by on a Saturday to have some Greek pizza and they were doing a different menu so disappointing had to go to Jason‘s restaurant to have pizza. Things will try you again maybe sometime later

I ordered the Falafel cellar. hummus was not even prepared for lunch despite the great staff for a small kitchen. falafel was quite dry and bland, sides were not properly prepared (my cricket pebbles were crispy) despite the plentiful scratch-shaped dishes I expected more. housemate pita was pitiful. I expected more for the price.

While there is not much to choose, there are a few options, including falafel, hummus, salate, which they need to change, and a delicious crispy hash brown patty to breakfast. I appreciate the effort, as there are very few possibilities on the island. it takes a long time to be prepared to give up, but the service is very friendly.
