"my man, 14 years old patenson and I bought tickets for comedysportz improw theatre on belmont and saw a promotional package for $20 dinner in the home room inn to foot from the theatre. the show was fantastic! we went to hri less than 5 minutes and arrived early for a 5pm reservation. the hostess was pleasant and quickly set to us. hubby and godson were thrilled that the Bears game was shown on as well as other games on different monitors. our server explained the package we bought and assured us that we had enough food. she was absolutely right! the salad, appetizer and large pizza were delicious and more than enough! hubby and godson had 3 helpers of the caesar salad with speck. we were offered for the crispy boneless wings 3 different diving sauce. each dish tasted fresh and tasteful! wonderful culinary experience for all age groups."

We were seated right away, but service was pretty slow considering they weren’t very busy. Food was just average.

Food was terribly bland over cooked. Pizza had absolutely no taste. Told the waitress she didn’t care to accommodate or have food re-fixed. View menu

Jessica was our server and she was awesome: attentive and helpful and fun. The food, as always, was delicious pizza for the soul. Thank you! PS- don’t skip the wings.

The pizza at this HRI location was as good as the original restaurant’s. Great, friendly service (Jessica) made this a smart stop before a 1:20 Cub game. Six blocks from Wrigley!

this ultra-thin, buttery chest from the southside of chicago is super! if they are a fan of pizza at all, and they want to make sure that they try to offer all the different types that chicago has to make sure that this is an attempt. View menu

Very accommodating on a Friday night. We had reservations and we were running late. Amanda was very professional and welcoming from the greeting to our departure. She was very knowledgeable, about the restaurant, great smile and warm personality. OH and the food came out quickly and everything was awesome! This combination of professionalism, great customer service, good eat (lol) and pleasant atmosphere is definitely a recipe that deserves five stars.

The pizza was great, but our server was MIA for 95% of the meal. Our pizza came out less than hot, which was annoying because we waited about 35 minutes for thin crust. It had clearly been done and sitting back there for ten minutes, but the server was chatting behind the bar or elsewhere. Two people had to leave before we got the bill because the took so long to bring it, and we didn’t get a single refill on our drinks because he never came by a single time after we got our food.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
