Hoss's Steak Sea House

Once again, I’m giving this place a full 5 stars. Although I usually hesitate to give perfect scores, I truly can’t find anything to criticize. The prices are fair, and the service is outstanding.

We ordered steaks and used the salad bar, and we were very pleased with the variety of options available at the buffet. The steaks were fantastic! My children (5) really enjoyed their meals as well.

We ordered steaks and enjoyed the salad bar, and we were really impressed with the variety of options available. The steaks were absolutely delicious! My kids, ages 5 and 7, actually ate until they were full and were quiet the whole drive home! I just wish I had more room to try more of the food!

We had a satisfying meal after a long day on the road. Our waitress was extremely attentive to all our needs. The salad, soup, and dessert bar exceeded expectations. While a few items could use a bit more attention, it wasn't anything major. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in search of a hot meal with excellent service.

I went here for lunch with my mother, and it wasn't too crowded. I ordered a salad bar and a chicken sandwich. I was surprised to find that the salad bar at this location is much smaller than the one at the Hoss's near my home. However, I was truly amazed by the portion size of my sandwich. Our server, Korrey, was exceptionally friendly and quick, providing excellent service. I also ordered through DoorDash, and everything arrived in a very reasonable time. Stopped here with wife for supper, Ordered the ribeye, very tough, not much flavor, over cooked too. Andrew the waiter, took care of it immediately suggested the Flat iron steak, within minutes a smaller but delicious steak arrived with a new bakedpotato. Salad bar was well stocked to help yourself too, along with 5 different soups . Desert bar also had many offeringsincluding ice cream and toppings. Wife ordered beef tips with a side sweet potato, tips were alittle over cooked, but the sweetpotato was delicious.

The steak was quite disappointing. It clearly came from the freezer and seemed to have been thawed multiple times, resulting in a lack of flavor. However, I will say that the texture was decent for about 60% of the steak. On a brighter note, the fries were enjoyable—crispy and just the right consistency, neither too soggy nor too hard. The chicken noodle soup was mediocre at best. The noodles were a bit too thick, and I couldn’t find any chunks of chicken or carrots in it. On a positive note, the restaurant was very clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, I felt that the food didn't justify the price I paid. I was quite let down by the Maryland-style crab cake; the crab meat was overcooked and exceptionally chewy. It didn't have the characteristic Old Bay seasoning and was lacking in flavor. The portion of meat was small, resembling scraps, and there was no mustard served alongside it. The steak had a decent texture, but it tasted like it had been frozen and thawed multiple times, which detracted from its flavor, although about 60% of it was still enjoyable.
