"The sushi at Inase is absolutely delicious we had some salmon belly nigiri, chutoro nigiri, and amber jack nigiri which were all phenomenal. The fish is such great quality and have a melt in your mouth feel. They also use some special ingredients that make the sushi more unique, but the flavors all blend together so well. We also had some of the best soft shell crab lightly crispy but still juicy and tender. Finally, the owners are so friendly and warm we were the only ones dining at the sushi bar and had such a great time talking with them. It was really the highlight of our day in NYC."

This place is consistently delicious! The food is always fresh, and the cooked dishes are equally fantastic. Although it may seem a bit unassuming when you first walk in, the warm welcome you receive makes it worth venturing out, even in the rain.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious! The ambiance truly captures the essence of Japan, and above all, the staff were exceptionally friendly! We will definitely be back! You won't regret visiting this place.

Banging Sushi restaurant with fresh, inexpensive seafood imported directly from Japan that on dishes alone would be a 5/5 but unfortunately is complemented with an absolutely awful indoor/outdoor dining layout. Better served as a takeout spot. $10 a roll. 4.25/5 stars as a dinner spot. View menu

Was looking for a quick meal with my bestie and her daughter on the upper east/west side and found this place! It’s a small, no frills, Japanese restaurant run by a cute Japanese couple! We ordered chawanmushi, yellowtail collar, omakase sushi, tempura udon, miso black cod, teriyaki salmon, and green tea ice cream. A very satisfying meal indeed.

There’s no better quality sushi to be found in New York City. Additionally, the warm and friendly hospitality provided by Jun and Shoko makes you feel like you’re among long-time friends. I highly recommend trying the omakase sets to experience Jun's finest creations. The ikura served on scallops instead of rice, as well as the aka uni, are highlights among the nigiri. The octopus tempura is also exceptional. The decor has a cozy feel, with much of the space utilized for storing kitchen supplies.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
