"I visited to catch an Arsenal match at 11:30, and I was delighted by the barman who was not only very friendly but also exceptionally attentive. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was exactly what I was looking for and reasonably priced. The pints were great, the location is excellent, and the staff is fantastic. I highly recommend this place, whether you’re here to watch a match or just to enjoy a few drinks."

We didn't eat anything, but the Guiness and the Irish Coffee were INCREDIBLE!!!! The staff was nice and it's close to the hotel. Recommend it!!!

The food here is so damn good and hearty. I came here after a long day of museum hopping and was looking for come comfort. I found it in the form of a mimosa and a Guinness stew.

The fish and chips are fantastic—truly excellent! They are a bit pricey, but that’s typical for DC. The bartender provided exceptional service. I will definitely return on my next trip to Washington, D.C.

Service was okay. But the food left a lot to be desired. The Shepard's pie tasted like it had been left out for hours but the peas were under done. The corned beef was dry and cabbage not fully cooked. Maybe it was since it's towards the end of day. View menu

Everything was good but it was more expensive than it deserved to be. It's connected to a hotel so I think that's why they can justify charging more. The staff, while friendly, were inattentive and I often had to walk around the bar to find someone.

This place is a must do! We were greeted with ice cold water as soon as we walked in (we had walked a mile to get here and it was so hot out). We had the best Shepherds Pie I have ever had and a delicious creme brule for dessert. Cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The best part? The most AMAZING staff. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Are there twice. The Irish Stew and Fish and Chips are both excellent. I don't usually drink beer, but thought I should give it a try with the stew, so had a Guiness, which was delicious. Sat outside both times- that was very nice and got to enjoy the church bells chiming across the street. Service was friendly with perfect timing throughout the meal. View menu

An amazing ambience, perfectly complemented by a flawless serving of Guiness and a good old delicious Shepherd 's pie just topped of my Saturday evening visit to this place. This place has the perfect combination of a casual diner and hole in the wall vibes. One of my friends had a Moscow mule, which was great, too. Definitely recommend if you are in DC.

The service was good, present but not annoying. The stew was very rich and heavy, I wish there were more mashed potatoes though. My coworkers loved the fish and chips, the hummus was also good. The dj/music was turned up so loud towards the end it gave me a headache and we left (around 8 pm). Others dining were also bothered by how loud it was and I noticed the restaurant cleared out quickly afterwards.
