"I made a reservation for my husband’s birthday and it was awful to say the least. We ran about 10 minutes late but I called several times and there was no answer. I’d figured they were extremely busy. Upon arrival, we stepped off the elevator rightin front of the hostess counter. We stood there 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. As we looked around I realized theyweren’t busy at all. We were finally seated and after about 10 minutes a gentleman filled our water glasses. Another 30minutes passed and there was no server. As we made final the decision to leave, a server approached asking had a server come tothe table. We replied no and we were leaving. I’ve heard great things about Itta Bena however, this saddens me because I sowanted the experience for my husband’s birthday. Needless to say we will never return."

everything was amazing, eating, drinking, ambiente and service. I had the best She-Crab suppe. the oysters were cooked to perfection. it was my first time with loup de mer and it was so delicious. I will give them 20 out of 10, in any case back and forth.

Food was excellent. Wife had ribeye and fried green tomatoes. I had shrimp and grits. Steak was juicy and definitely worth the wait. Shrimp and grits included huge shrimp with creamy grits. Excellent. The service was less than what I expected. When we were seated it took nearly 10 minutes for a server to come to our table. Seemed like she was not supposed to be the server assigned to our table, but she took our order. Once we got our food things went much smoother. Service at the Fire was better. Might want to learn a few lessons from Wetumpka Fire.

Eventually, we were seated, and after about 10 minutes, a gentleman came by to fill our water glasses. However, another 30 minutes went by without any sign of a server. Just as we were deciding to leave, a server finally approached us, asking if anyone had attended to us. We informed him that no one had come to our table and that we were leaving. I've heard fantastic things about Itta Bena, and it really saddens me that our experience didn't live up to our expectations, especially since it was for my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. View menu

Very beautiful impressive restaurant. The word SEXY comes to mind. I 've been a total of 3xs only at brunch which was good but could have more options and $8 for a mimosa is ridiculous. However I will continue to come back for the braised beef benedict(DELICIOUS). Staff is friendly but generally inexperienced for upscale dining in my opinion (diner quality service). Lastlynot sure if the beignets were just a mother 's day thing but they certainly should be a staple. The lump crab omelet was okay butcertainly not filling and the steak and eggs left a lot to be desired.

we have almost not gone to this restaurant, based on several recent reviews. we decided to roll the cubes and try. we beat the jackpot! one of the best meals we had in a long time. the muddles were tasteful and the sausage and sauce improved their taste. the healed was perfectly boiled and the grilled asparagus was a perfect addition and the fried oysters were the best we had in our swing through the south-east where we have tried many. we have mentioned that the old fashioned some of the best ever. we live in las vegas and have eaten there in many chic restaurants. itta bena is as good as Vegas’ finest to a fraction of the price. service, eating, setting are all excellent.
