"Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't crowded it at all. They only have 3 seats outside so the place is small. There isn't any indoor seating as it's an order at the counter and take it with you. They have hot and cold items you can grab on the side or just order at the counter as some of them take a few minutes to order. I went with the kimchi fried rice, kimbap, and the fried corn dog with cheese. The fried corn dog had a bit of sugar on there and was filled with cheese. It was good but not great. The kimbap was dry and flavorless while the kimchi fried rice was actually pretty good. The egg was cooked perfectly and had some chicken inside. Overall, the food was decent but for sure pricey. 4 items cost around $40 total. I would probably not come back but it was worth a try."

My go-to Korean restaurant in the Bay Area! Customer service is excellent and food is really good. Taste is consistent. View menu

I love their all mozzarella corn dog, however, I would not get it with ramen. I want to come back to try it with potato. But it is expensive for what I am getting but again its America and also INFLATION!!! I love their YUBU KIMBAP, which is the one with the tofu skin. Their regular kimbap is okay. I do wanna try their kimchi fried rice though. This place is mid, but for a quick snack, I would personally go!!

I like the food but was disappointed that it was not mentioned in their website that they do not give away small plates anymore. They only give one and the one they picked was something I dont care about (white mung bean with the tail). Not even a kimchi plate. Just odd. I wish they would have mentioned in their website so people dont get disappointed. I called the store thinking maybe they forgot. But it is their new normal. Hmmmm

I came here on my lunch break to get a Korean corn dog, and while it was okay, for the price, it wasn't the best Korean corn dog I've had. The outside potatoes were more like cut up french fries and they got a little too crispy when they got fried, It was missing the sugar on the outside and the dipping sauce selection was also pretty mediocre: ketchup, wasabi mayo or honey mustard. I wouldn't say no if someone else wanted to go here but I don't think I would go back on my own. View menu

This was my first time trying a Korean rice hot dog. I order all mozzarella, no sugar, with potato crust. With my hot dog, I get to choose one sauce. I chose wasabi mayo. I thought the batter was a little too think. Besides the initial cheese pull, majority of my hot dog was fried dough. Without the sauce, there wasn 't much flavor to it. In terms of the crust, all I tasted was a crunchy exterior. I barely tasted any potato flavor. Next time I 'm close by, I do want to try the Taiyaki fish pastry.

Jang Su Jang Next Door is in the Calaveras Plaza Shopping Center. They may be a bit busy in this plaza, but there is plenty of parking in the lot. They sell a variety of rice hot dogs, mochi donuts, and a variety of Korean foods/snacks. I tried their Stacked Sausage and Mozzarella Cheese one. The outer part had a bit too much batter and was a bit too doughy, but other than that, the rice hot dog tasted great with ketchup. The Boonguhbang (taiyaki fish pastry) and Squid Ink Batter Sausage and Mozzarella Cheese Hot Dog looked intriguing and yummy as well.

"I always go to this store as we live closeby. I always love to bring my kids in this store, and have them order their food. Yesterday, I went with my 3 yr old son (his bday) coz he wants a cake pop. I let him call the barista so she knows we're ready to order. My son said excuse me like 5 times, said hello like 3 times to get her attention coz she's talking with her coworker. She finally came up to us, my son ordered cakepops, I ordered 2 java chips and 1 mocha frappe. The baristas before were soooo nice, very friendly, welcoming but yesterday was the opposite. Btw, always sip a bit of your drinks before you leave the store coz yesterday I guess the barista who made the mocha frappe forgot to put in sugar syrup. I just found it today as my husband didn't drink his mocha frappe yesterday. Coz what if you just stopped by to get some drinks and you already left then found out something is wrong with your order. And also, they do not offer Java Chip anymore, so you gotta pay additional for the chips. The barista didn't even inform me about it, found out today when I checked the receipt online. I called in to let them know about my concerns, they offered to remake the mocha frappe. The barista who made our drinks was the one who took our order. Maybe she had a bad day. But then, I just wish the baristas will be more friendly and welcoming and inform the customer if a menu is no longer available so we have the option to change our order. "First time to Koi Palace in Milpitas, though had dined at their location in Daly City decades ago. Very disappointing.. It's on a Monday around noon, and the place was pretty filled up. The service was lousy, starting from the receptionist who practically saw us but totally ignored us, even after my husband kindly waving his hand to him in order to catch his attention. After seated, though some servers had been going back forth by our table but none would look up, stop and talked to us. Of course we had to wait for a while before being served, minimally. The 18% mandatory tip charge to the customers was totally undeserved due to the lack of acceptable, good service to their customers. We have been to a few similar restaurants (in terms of foods class) in the Peninsula area where mandatory 18% tip charge are imposed but they do provide very good service consistently to their customers. We primarily came to eat at this restaurant for their well-known dim sum and its variety. Foods served were disappointing, unfortunately, considering their high-priced tags. Siu Mai 燒賣 were not fresh; skins were tough and the meat hard to chew. Shrimp dumblings or Ha Gow 蝦餃 were okay. Tofu rolls 鮮竹卷 were acceptable. The Budda's Delight vegetarian noodles 羅漢齋麵 was made up of a large portion of noodles but only few vegetable ingredients, not worth the $24. Adding to the noise level of the place due to crowded tables (very close to each other) when it's busy, it's definitely not a pleasant dining experience at all.. Do not plan to return.."
