"The only positive thing I can say about this restaurant is that the food was served quickly, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. However, the quality of the food did not meet my expectations, so I won’t be returning. The baked beans had an unpleasant chili bean flavor that I didn’t enjoy, the chicken was dry and cold, and they forgot to give me the barbecue sauce, which was the main reason for my visit. If I could give a zero star, I would. I have eaten ribs, both pork and beef, from all over the U.S, and these, by far, are the worst I've ever eaten. Dry, tough, no taste. The BBQ sauce doesn't even make them palatable. Don't give me the excuse of COVID because they remain open. I would NEVER recommend Jay's Barbecue to anyone, even if I didn't like them. TERRIBLE!!

The experience at Jay's Bar-B-Q was very pleasant. Our food was pleasing to the eyes, taste to the tongue, and filling to the stomach. It was so pleasant we purchased a plate to eat later. Oh, yes the waitress were well mannered and respectfully. I have been visiting Jay's for maybe ten years or so and one day I invited my husband to the restaurant and he is hooked also.
