"BEST LOCAL DELI in the pilotin lakes area! The food is FRESH and tasty! The bread is always perfectly crisp ! The owner truly cares about his business and it’s obvious! He doesn’t cut corners! I do think his place could use a “women’s touch “ but it’s very clean overall and gives you a relaxed local deli vibe don’t change it much ! I appreciate the quick and friendly service! I love thé turkey and cheese hoagie ans the caesar salad!He chops the salad fresh doesn’t used the bagged salad fake stuff! He’s great! Food is amazing! Awesome deli in Pompton Lakes. I was always a loyal T&C customer out of sheer nostalgia, however I wish I came here sooner. The bread and meats are fresh, Boars Head makes a big difference over Thumann's for sure.

They were very accommodating- I had a fairly large order to pick up, so I called ahead. The owner/manager was very friendly. Sandwiches were so fresh, and they have a good selection of chips. Will definitely be back!

I was meeting someone at the restaurant to purchase a marketplace item. While I was waiting, I went inside and ordered a pound of potato salad. Potato salad is something I often enjoy, but I can rarely say it’s amazing. This one, however, was the best I’ve ever had— it had a homemade taste and wasn’t drowning in mayo. I will definitely be trying their other dishes in the coming days.

The service here is incredibly friendly! All the sandwiches and food are homemade and fresh. The mozzarella is made daily and is simply extraordinary. The menu features themed sandwiches, each named after something from New Jersey. I usually order the Savage, and it never fails to impress – it's absolutely delicious. If you’re ever in the Wayne or Riverdale area, I highly recommend checking out this deli!
