"Usually every time we visit Chicago it was really good, but this last visit, the food was so salty even the pizza. We had lasagna, spaghetti, and a large pizza all of it was so salty. We were shocked and most likely will not visit the place for awhile. Another problem with the place is that it only has 1 bathroom. It is a decent place to hold events but if they were tohost it, they would have more than 1 bathroom (1 stall). The staff is nice and the place is decent but I wouldn't hold an eventthere."

Jim Pete's excels at Italian. I first went there for the Chicago style deep dish (forget about that other place), but discovered so much more. The Signature thin crust pizza can't be beat—roasted peppers, artichoke hearts, garlic, fontina. I've also never had a bad entree. Didn't skip the antipasto.

We enjoyed generous portions of delicious food during our lunch visit. The salad dressing was exceptional, and we were pleased to find it available for purchase at a reasonable price. The service was good, and the food met our expectations. However, the restaurant had a bit of an odor. You can buy the dressing in quart containers or even in a gallon jug. We ended up buying four bottles to take home. Overall, the food was excellent, and we had a great dining experience!
