"I really want to love this restaurant, but as another review mentioned, the portion sizes are quite small for the price. I ordered takeout and got the eel roll for $11.95, but it was surprisingly small, containing only a few tiny pieces of eel. I also ordered two salmon rolls at $6.95 each, and they were just as small. I've had sushi at various places in Houston, and I was taken aback by how little you get here for the typical sushi price, especially considering it's not a high-end restaurant. The taste is okay, but I have to give it one star for the value."

This was our first time ordering from Kaishi Asian Bistro, and we got our food to-go. The salmon pieces in my daughter's Philly rolls were very small, and some rolls were missing both salmon and avocado. Additionally, the salmon was a pale pink and seemed to be of poor quality, especially for the price. I’m frustrated that we paid $58 for this meal—it definitely wasn’t worth it. When I tried to call to address the issue, the man who answered the phone couldn’t understand me.
