"I’m proud to say that the owners are close friends of mine. I’ve been enjoying meals at this restaurant for nearly 36 years! They have truly invested their heart and soul into every part of the place and every bite of food. Whether it's the delicious menu or the welcoming atmosphere, this is hands down my top recommendation for a meat-focused restaurant. The food never gets tiresome! They serve what I consider the best burger in the world, but trust me, everything else on the menu is just as fantastic! While they're famous for their burgers, I believe other dishes are often underrated. Everything they offer is exceptional, including the overall experience and vibe! As I mentioned, I’m proud to call them friends. They are two of the best brothers around! I could eat there every night without ever being disappointed! Keep up the great work, guys! All my best, Sruli/Yisroel Brownstein."

Karen and Dan are incredibly kind and knowledgeable about their food! They are a genuine couple, and the dishes were delicious—even without dairy! We will definitely return! -Tiffany and Orlando

Really good food, decent prices (for Kosher food), a hysterically funny owner, and an incredible vibe as far as the atmosphere goes. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're visiting, but even if you live in the area as well. You'll have a great time! My only complaint is that they close too early.

Driving/Parking anywhere near Chicago is a bear. There is a small lot that has free parking. The pastrami sandwich I had was ok and the employees friendly. I would go there at least once to check it out. Seems over hyped and the place looks nothing like the pics to me. I would go back and try a burger if in the neighborhood. Seems like that’s their specialty. View menu

Wish I could give more than five stars. Just want to start by saying that everyone genuinely treats you like family from the first time that you come in. Besides being my favorite kosher restaurant, as someone who grew up not keeping kosher, this is one of the only places that not only competes with, but easily beats non-kosher competitors. The burgers are next level. The pastrami is next level. Honestly pretty much everything I've had here is phenomenal.

Ken 's Diner is a must stop when in the Chicago area. My family and I chose to stop in for lunch, and we were handled with 5 star service, as the folks there are literally as nice as it gets. We were all in awe at how cool the diner is set up. The blending of sports memorabilia and antiques from your grandparents era makes for a unique ambience. There truly is no comparison in the kosher food establishment world! Lastly, the food absolutely lived up to the hype. If I were to recommend a menu item, I would say the Burger Buddy. Go see Ken 's Diner for yourself!

"My wife and I wanted a nice laid-back place to sit outside and enjoy a fun dinner. We ended up being very disappointed by the service. Our server took about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity when you are waiting to order beverages). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and waters but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We didn't see our server again for a very long time. We started to feel like our appetizer was a little delayed when food runners showed up with our entrees. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But we were halfway into the meal by that point. The food tasted fine. Nothing extraordinary but not bad. The nachos, I admit, were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered was described to have bread crumbs but was missing that. Fortunately the server had it taken care of pretty quickly. We were never asked about having our drinks refilled. And after eating, we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. None of the problems by themselves would have been a big deal, but together it added up to a somewhat unpleasant experience. The server was nice and apologetic. They also comped us the appetizer which was nice. May have been an off night or maybe a new server, but I can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. Also, we did enjoy the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambiance was nice."
