"I had the filet mignon with potatoes, served alongside green beans, while my friends enjoyed the creole red snapper with polenta. Everything was beautifully cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our server was new, having only been there for a few days, but she was friendly and attentive. Whenever she couldn't answer our questions, another staff member promptly assisted us. We brought our own wine, and the corkage fee was just $10 per bottle. For dessert, we shared the brownie sundae and strawberry shortcake, both of which were delicious. Overall, the service was excellent, the food was delightful, and the atmosphere was genuinely comfortable for enjoying a meal. I can't wait to come back!"

"This mom-and-pop diner serves food that’s basic yet satisfying, just as it should be. The atmosphere is clean, but unfortunately, the service was lacking. I watched my waitress engage in casual conversations while my meal sat in the window, getting cold. When I finally mentioned to her that my food was cold and I preferred it hot, she seemed quite upset. I pointed out that she had been chatting for over five minutes, which contributed to the problem, but she responded rudely. She didn’t seem to realize that I was the one paying for the meal along with my uncle. She got the hint when I left just a penny on the table. Customers deserve their meals served hot. I work hard for my money and I can choose to spend it anywhere, especially at a place that serves food the right way."

"The chicken enchilada rice and beans were all very good. It's a cute place but we had to wait some time before someone came back to our table. No chips and salsa until we asked and dinner took 40 minutes to come to us after we ordered. It was my first visit there so I'm thinking I will try it again because the food was really good. "Initially, the young man who took our order seemed clueless about which drinks were caffeine-free. He suggested Coke and iced tea. When my iced tea arrived, there was something sticky smeared all around the rim of the glass. Our food, including the salads, took 45 minutes to arrive. We asked two different staff members to check on our order, but neither returned with any updates. When our food finally came, the salads were missing, and the fries were cold. My tuna sandwich was served on a burnt crescent roll instead of being toasted, and we still hadn't received our salads. We flagged down an employee to ask for our server. When he arrived, we informed him that the fries were cold and we hadn’t received our salads. Instead of apologizing, he simply asked what he could do. I requested our salads, and I watched him prepare them himself, which suggested they should have been made and served long before. When they finally arrived, they were drenched in water. My parents frequently visit this restaurant for breakfast and say it is usually quite good. However, I will NEVER return. I understand that the restaurant is under new ownership and has recently reopened after the pandemic, but there was plenty of staff present. They were mostly just standing around, chatting and joking with each other."
