"This restaurant used to be a family tradition, but with the price now at $85 per person and self-parking costing $21, this will be our last holiday brunch at the Don. The turkey was dry and overcooked, and the service at the turkey station was frustratingly slow and inadequate. Many desserts were already gone, and there was a noticeably smaller selection compared to previous years. Other buffet items were just average. The raw bar, however, was quite good. For the first time, I noticed the dining rooms were half-empty. It seems the Don has priced itself out of our range without providing anything additional to justify the cost. We’ll be seeking a new Thanksgiving tradition from now on."

I successfully made a reservation, but when I arrived, they had no record of it.

Considering the price of brunch and parking fees, there are definitely better value options available.

Beautiful room, friendly staff and wonderful food. The Don is always a good idea. I even splurged on a beaded bag in the shops! View menu

we found all the “hot” buffet food delivered cold as the teller. also the stirring of the ditches to warmer floor spoons produced only lukewarm sweet potatoes etc. very disappointing -we would not go back. service was friendly, fast efficient and friendly

We all found that the food at the "hot" buffet was actually cold, as were the supplied plates. Even when we stirred the dishes to reach the warmer bottom layers, the vegetables, potatoes, and other items were only lukewarm. It was quite disappointing, and we would not return. However, the service was friendly, prompt, efficient, and courteous.

It was a beautiful atmosphere with good service. A harp and piano player really made it nice. Views of the ocean. Plenty of room. The food was good but the buffet felt like it was missing something. They didn’t have any hot bread and the bakery items such as croissants and muffins were sparse. They could have added biscuits, French toast and maybe a pasta dish. We had the salmon and enjoyed it. The selection of food seemed better this year and so did the quality. The staff we had this year was better than in years past. I was disappointed that we had to pay an additional $20 for parking when it was complimentary before. The price was $85 per adult and $26 for children so I don't feel like the value is there but my wife enjoys it so I'll start saving money so we can go back again next year.

Never have we been unhappy with a Don Cesar experience. To be as disappointed as we were almost seems as if somebody in charge might have been ill?? Service was kind and cordial. The buffet was just sad beautifully presented, poorly prepared. No rare roast beef?? Really? The fish so overcooked it was actually tough. Sliced sirloin?? Salad bar? No vinegar or oil? No bleu cheese? No sugar free offerings in the dessert line?? What else is there to say? Never have we paid so dearly for such disappointment!
