"Delicious Food! This was my first visit, and I tried the Submarina Cubana, which is similar to a torta, and it was fantastic! The addition of pineapple and avocado made it even better. I also had their Agua de Piña, which tasted amazing and authentic. It genuinely tasted like freshly made agua, with bits of pineapple pulp that added to the experience. Overall, this is a wonderful place to enjoy a fresh, authentic Mexican or Hispanic meal. I can't wait to try more items on the menu. Just a heads up – they seemed a bit understaffed, as I had to wait a few minutes for someone to assist me, but it was definitely worth the wait. There's a little red service bell at the front counter if you'd like to use it."

Ordered on UberEats I wanted to try something new. I ordered a carne asada sub (Torta) and a chocolate shake. It came in a simple brown bag with chips View menu

This is the best place in the USA for authentic Mexican tortas. It’s nothing like Tex-Mex; it’s the real deal. They serve simple, honest food that’s truly satisfying. The staff only speaks Spanish, so you might need to know some basic phrases or use sign language, but trust me, the food will make you happy! I'm actually still eating my pollo torta as I write this! XD

Such great Mexican food here , the people here have such a good attitude. I love the design here they remodel and the place looks so nicer. Also the food here so cheap I love ordering tacos and they have different kind water flavors. when you enter here you feel so welcome. If I could I would buy food here everyday. They even have Uber eats. It’s my favorite Mexican restaurant here. View menu

Looove this place, best Mexican cuisine I found. They are short staff, which means that it will wait long, but it is worth it. All right, I mean everything. It is prepared when you order it, so it is like eating at home. The lady is super nice and offers phone orders to make things easier on her and the customers. I've never been disappointed. My favorite is the raspados, nice portions and feels like I bought it in Mexico. Try it!

It was my first time eating here and the food was delicious! We ordered a ham cheese torta as well as their Sandia loco (or something like that) and we recommend not ordering anything else if you're going to try to eat half a watermelon with other fresh delicious fruits because we were stuffed and couldn't finish our meal! I have no complaints about this place. The restaurant is pretty small but very clean and the customer service was also great. I wish I would've taken a picture of our food because the presentation was just beautiful but we were very hungry. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for fresh, tasty food!

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
