"This was one of the happiest culinary surprises I have had in a long time! My friend is a Woodside local who introduced me to this lovely place, and I can see why he loves it so much. The food is, frankly, phenomenal. What a diverse, clever menu! To dineat La Flor is to sample a taste of the world. Whether you want meat, or fish, or vegetables, or all of the above, you arecovered! The staff are so kind and accommodating, and they are perfectly bilingual, so bring your friends who speak English,Spanish or both! Finally, the wine selection is extensive, and the prices are fair for the service and quality you receive. Ifyou are near to or pass through Woodside, go to La Flor. Or go out of your way to dine at La Flor. You won't regret making thetrip. Trust me; I live an hour away on Long Island. I will definitely be back. ¡Buen provecho!"

Authentic Mexican breakfast and deliciously slow-roasted pork ribs prepared in a homestyle manner.

Well made Mexican food. The service was friendly. The food felt simple and safe to me, and it didn't really stand out with all the many options available in the area.

The restaurant was easily accessible by public transportation. I visited on a Saturday evening and was seated immediately. I ordered a salad and cactus and vegetable tacos, both of which were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, the decor was charming, and the prices were reasonable.

Excellent food and outstanding service. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, and the ingredients are fresh. This place is truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood. To those who leave less than 5-star reviews, please consider the impact your rating can have on a business. This family-owned restaurant deserves nothing less than 5 stars.

I like the friendly undertone of this place. It is not a traditional Mexican restaurant. But the food is good and well blended. I come to this place to taste ?real? Sangria. The owner sometimes greets with customers that gives me feeling that I am welcomed here. It is like an oasis in the desert of mediocrity in Sunny/Woody Side neighborhood. View menu

This place is a diamond in the rough. It can seem like another Mexican cuisine restaurant along Roosevelt avenue under the 7 train... It is anything but that! The food is exquisite, and the menu is kept to very few items, which changes often. This placeis more like home cooked meals with a high end finish. Want to surprise your palate? Give yourself pleasure and do so. Eat atthis place.

Such a cool little spot. Nothing fancy at all, but aesthetically pleasing nonetheless. Unique for sure- as if you arent in queens but a small, family owned cafe in Europe somewhere. A welcome respite from the hustle and bustle, noise and chaos of the city. A very simple but delicious menu- food made with care and attention to detail. Fresh ingredients. Kind and attentive service. I really enjoyed this place.
