"We stumbled across this restaurant while exploring the town and initially just had drinks on the outside terrace enjoying the sunny aspect.We were struck by the genuine friendliness of the staff. A pleasant change from our recent experiences. Perfect English spoken to assist our sketchy French.We were pleasantly surprised to be presented with two complimentary tapas of tuna and tapenade alongside our two rounds of drinks.We used the facilities inside and had a tour of the restaurant which has first class decor and a lovely garden terrace.We decided to return for dinner the next evening as we were so impressed.The warm welcome and fantastic service continued through the dinner service. Our food was great and we keenly watched every dish served around us all looked great and went down well with all the other customers.Value for money and a lovely location with friendly highly efficient staff. There was a further benefit for us as English appears on the menu.A lovely evening spent at La Pignatelle, highly recommend. We spent a week in Beaulieu-Sur-Mer and this was our favourite restaurant, head and shoulders above the others we tried in the town."

I reviewed this restaurant last September and have visited several times since then, the most recent being tonight. Once again, there was a warm welcome from the owner and staff which was lovely. The food was excellent, as was the service, in spite of the restaurant being very busy. La Pignatelle never fails to impress and satisfy. Bravo. View menu

We found the restaurant while we were looking for a lunch place after a morning at the beach. We liked the quiet atmosphere and the nice little terrace they have. Our waiter was very careful and always making sure everything was alright. The food was tasty and very good value for money for their set menus. Would definitely recommend the lemon tiramisu

We went here because it looked really nice from the outside. There is a lovely garden area you can sit in. I was firstly a bit disappointed that despite the menu havung numerous beers on offer only Heineken was available because they ran out. Fair enough, I am sure it wasn't their fault. We ordered the duck and seabass. The duck was superb and very filling but the seabass was average. After mains we asked the waiter what coffees he had. I have no idea why but at this point he goes, 'This isn't Australia we don't have mochas, lattes or mochas. We only do espresso.' It was very rude and not sure why he said it since we are Glaswegian...anyway we then said we thought the menu also had cappuccin...
