"Nice place and great decor. Not a typical Italian (American based) restaurant which is good. Service was great, ours was a large group and two staff members did everything possible to make and feel comfortable. Both of them were so professional and they brought in food and the check with no issues or mistakes which is so amazing. Nice job on the other hand from the food, Dinner roll was not that great, hard and rock solid, seems like a microwaved roll. Soup was so bad, everyone in our group felt that why did we order the soup. Generally soup is suppose to be either hot or warm, but this was cold, basically the soup settled down like a pudding. Main course was ok, not that great."

Delicious!! It's the only restaurant worth patimg for in the area. They took my favorite dish off the menu but they still let me order it! We have loved everything we have tried. Not a real fancy place, but the food sure makes up for it.

Overall: 87/100 Really the only Italian place in town, so they are always busy. Great food and atmosphere, but it seems dependent on what you get. I absolutely loved the seafood pasta (the shrimp were very well cooked), but the gnocchi was a bit doughy and the bread doesn't seem fresh.

The restaurant was noisy and our table was situated closely to others on both sides, making it hard to have private conversations in a small town where everyone knows each other. I also observed that they had already placed the olive oil on the table before we sat down. I believe they should wait to pour it until after you are seated, considering the current situation with COVID-19. View menu

Excellent service and environment. However I don't think the taste could support it's price. I ordered a medium well lamb steak, but they gave me a slightly overcooked steak. After I complained about it to them, they replaced one (yes they have good service), and I asked them to get me a medium. Even if I asked them for a medium, they still gave me a medium-well to well-done level steak. I accepted it, but if you want a medium-well, you probably need to order a medium-rare.

For our 10-year anniversary, we decided to dine at La Scala. Every time we visit this restaurant, we have a fantastic experience and this night was no different. The food was exceptional (I highly recommend the pumpkin ravioli), our server was friendly, attentive, and well-informed about the menu, and we enjoyed a delightful meal in our favorite restaurant. The portions were generous; I usually have leftovers to enjoy for lunch the following day. La Scala is truly a hidden gem in the community!
