"I'm not a big fan of ceviche, so I like to make my own mix instead. I combine shrimp and ahi tuna with some fruit. During this visit, I forgot to add avocado. The total was around $21, including tax. Some might find that pricey, but it always provides leftovers for both me and my boyfriend. It's ideal for a beach day or for taking home. It's incredibly fresh, tasty, and healthy—definitely a winning choice!"

"I highly recommend dining at this restaurant! My partner and I drove five hours from San Antonio to spend a week in South Padre Island, and we would make that journey just to enjoy the Magic Burger and hot dog again! The burger exceeded all my expectations; it featured the most incredible mahi tuna I've ever tasted, paired with thick-cut crinkle fries that were fried to perfection—absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was refreshing, especially being right by the water. I can't recommend this place enough, and we plan to return every time we visit!"

"Excellent experience! I highly suggest making a reservation, as this restaurant is quite popular. Our waiter, Matthew, was extremely attentive, polite, and professional. His suggestion of the blueberry lemonade was perfect. Everything is made from scratch and incredibly tasty. The Caesar salad and mixed seafood fritters were outstanding. The filet mignon was delicious and cooked just the way I like it. I'm really glad we decided to try this place, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking an elegant dining experience in South Padre Island."

"We took our kids to LongBoards and had a fantastic time! We arrived around 6:00 PM and ended up staying until nearly 10:00 PM. The atmosphere was lively, enhanced by live music and a spacious dance floor. We enjoyed performances from two different bands, both of which we loved. Our waitress was excellent—despite the place getting really busy later in the evening, she was always on top of drink orders. The manager or owner was also very present, making rounds to check on customers and address any issues. As for the food, it was quite good. There was a bit of a wait, but that’s to be expected from a new bar and barbecue spot. We tried the shrimp, grilled Mahi tacos, and jerk chicken, all of which were delicious. We will definitely be back to support this local bar and barbecue!"

"Could be better, however this place has a cult type following so there is usually a wait. Service was great. Food was just okay. Calamari taste a bit too fishy. Fried fish and shrimp combo was my choice. Fish was not tasty they might want to beer batter it to give it a better taste. The tarter sauce was not tasty. The shrimp was okay but the cocktail sauce was great. I had coleslaw for the side and it was great. Bad news is that hush puppies were not good. I recommend them using a little cornmeal and baking powder to produce a lighter more tasty hush puppy. My son said the seafood pasta was great. My other guest said that carrots in the mixed veggies taste like they came out of a can. It is always best to use fresh or frozen vegetables. Never use can vegetables because they have a very distinctive taste from being soak in the preserving liquid. Nonetheless, this place has the potential to be great."
