"We found the Lost Duck quite by accident and honestly could have spent the day and night there. It is so charming and the beers are all great! Bartender was wonderful to chat with, had great insights and info about the region and we chatted a lot about the great music that was playing eclectic and not a bad song in the mix. Despite construction while we were there, it's right on the Mississippi and will be even more amazing when the mess is cleared. Their menu looked fantastic, although we had obligations to dine elsewhere and couldn't stay. Wish we had the place we went was definitely nothing to write home about. I would send everyone I know to this little bar on the river if we knew anyone remotely close by. If available, highly recommend the raspberry lemon ginger shandy!"

The food was delicious, and the view of the riverfront was beautiful. However, the service was quite slow, especially since there weren't many diners present.

Had the Nutty Duck, Frickles and Moody Blue Chips, they were delicious!!! I hope to go back before we head home. Definitely a must try if you are in Fort Madison.

What a lovely restaurant! I visited for dinner on Saturday night and ordered the Cuban sandwich, which was enormous and absolutely delicious! It was loaded with pulled pork and ham. From their extensive beer selection, I chose the Porter, and it was really flavorful!

I can't believe that one person's negative experience affected the ratings for this place, especially since they were closed during a time when many places were shut down. This restaurant is fantastic! It offers a great view of the river. The IPA I tried wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was still decent. However, the Pintail Pale Ale was exceptional. My son ordered the Dunkel and the Red and enjoyed both. Don't let someone else's complaint deter you; this place is definitely worth a visit!
