"I am disappointed with the rating of this restaurant, as it seems many people are giving 5 stars based solely on the cute decor and not on the actual quality of the food and service. Personally, I would have rated this place no higher than 3 stars. The food was mediocre at best, with the rib eye steak being just okay, canned beans, and a loaded baked potato with only 3 toppings. The service was also lacking, with a long wait to be seated and a waitress who was inattentive and unhelpful. The prices were exorbitant, with a 10oz rib eye costing a steep $26. It seems this restaurant takes advantage of its location in a small town with few dining options, and markets itself as a must-visit spot for visitors. However, I will not be returning and do not recommend this place unless you do not mind poor service, long waits, and high prices."

"On my way back to Colorado, needed a place for dinner and to watch Avalanche game, this place is a diamond in the rough. The food was as good as you could get anywhere, I had the K.C. strip and it was perfect. The service was phenomenal, Kelsey was amazing, wanted nothing. I'll make sure I'm back on my way."

"The food was good, the service was decent, and the atmosphere was typical of Vernon. For vegetarian options, I ordered pasta with tomato sauce and requested that the garlic knots be made without butter, which they accommodated. The service was prompt and friendly. I dined in for lunch and the price per person was between $10-20. I would give the food a 4 out of 5 rating, the service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 3 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the garlic rolls, pasta sampler, and garlic bread. Vegetarians will also enjoy this restaurant."

"This charming little diner may be a bit off the beaten path, but the food is fantastic! We were just passing through and wanted to support a local establishment, and we were not disappointed. My wife ordered the sour cream chicken enchiladas, while I opted for the chicken fried steak sandwich. Everything was served hot and fresh. It seemed like they even stayed open a little longer for us—Google lists their closing time as 8 PM, and we arrived at 6:45 PM. If you find yourself in the area, be sure to give them a try! Service: Dine-in."
