Delicious brick oven pizza that was just what we were craving! I give it four stars because the Caesar salad didn’t live up to expectations, but the pizza more than compensated for it. Food rating: 4/5.

Had a great dinner here recently. The meat lovers pizza was really delicious, and the rigatoni bolognese was good too. Also loved the cocktails (and mocktails).Will definitely come back to try more of their pizza options.

The brick oven pizza here is outstanding! Be sure to check out the oven when you visit; it's quite impressive. The staff is incredibly friendly, and there are options for both indoor and outdoor seating. This is my favorite spot for pizza! Food rating: 5/5.

This place is absolutely lovely! They have a fantastic jazz selection playing on the speakers. The pizza has a light and delicious crust, and the salad is incredibly fresh. If you're coming from Randall's Ward Island and you're in Astoria craving pizza, this is the spot to visit. The Margherita pie featured fresh ingredients and had a thin, crispy, and sturdy crust. The mulled wine was a great complement to the meal. This place can easily hold its own against any pizzeria in the five boroughs.

What sets Macolleta apart is that they offer pizza-making classes, along with a pizza bar in the center of the restaurant. The spacious layout provides plenty of seating and a nice shade on the hot day we visited. Our server was a bit slow, despite the restaurant not being overly crowded, which meant we had to wait a little longer to be attended to. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience!

First time at Macoletta taking a pizza cooking class. They have a super cool oven shipped in from Verona that has a spinning and elevating stone. Darby is the instructor who walked us through the history of the store, it's owner, and the pizza made at Macoletta. She taught us how to make the pizza. She was very well informed and friendly. My partner and I also met the owner. Walid, who was welcoming. He offered us free samples of the burrata they have with fresh baked bread. I highly recommend the pizza making class. It came with 2 alcoholic drinks, the pizza you made, and a dessert. I had the Where's Walid-O drink which had great jasmine notes, hibiscus, and had a nice kick to it.My partner... View menu
