I had another great experience in mamas bakery and deli. this time I could try the baklava with chocolate and macadamia nuts, and it was to die! I've never had anything better, and I don't even like sweets. this was amazingly good, and it was another great experience to be there.

when I (reluctant) wandered south to san diego, mama was now my fountain, I can have more. mantra, that I've always whispered while I pack my life. mama is not necessarily impressing as a whole, but this dish, this one unique fat roll of thymian, olive oil, sesame seeds, tomato, olive and minze could only be my favorite meal in this city. mama’s manaeesh plus 5.45), served on delicate, sajj flatbread, this is a court I recommend to everyone, regardless of their preference - it has never disappointed anyone.

WHAT A JOKE! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY First of all this place advertised it's food as authentic when it is far from it. Food has no taste!! Second of all I ordered a wrap and there was a super long black hair in the food and the kid who took my order couldn't have cared less. He didn't want to refund me and once he did he insisted on getting the food back before I could get my money back!!! As if I was the scammer!!! Take your nasty ass food back! I'm so disgusted! Honestly, very disappointed. Had heard good things about this cute, small business and how great and “authentic” the food is. There is nothing authentic about canned chicken being used under the guise of chicken shawarma. The pita wasn’t anywhere close to fresh, the rice wasn’t even bland, just shy of being considered that. Got the chicken shawarma salad and my partner got the wrap. We didn’t finish either…literally, beyond disappointed. I don’t even like grape leaves but that was the only edible thing we ordered. Spent $50 on dumpster food that took 20 mins to make. Would highly not recommend. Alexis on 5th is lightyears better…check them out because Mama’s Bakery is not it!
