"I had a flight out of EWR at 7. An engagement that am in Morning side, wanted a nice lunch and the reviews suggested Marlow could offer same. In deference to the architraves ar nearby Columbia I shall quote Vergilius (Virgil) by saying Dis aliter visum eat. We just had a rather mediocre “brunch” menu. I have always eschewed “brunch” as the grazing territory of the metrosexual. Indeed such was the fodder on offer bland and inoffensive. Notwithstanding the prices were paleo if you will allow a culturally dissonant spoonerism “I won’t be back !”"

Our meal was delicious, the wine was fruity, and the service was excellent, allowing us to drive to a concert and arrive on time.

the muddles were terrible and the service was unstoppable. I used to go there a lot before covid, but it's really not that great anymore

here. I order a salad nicoise. after 40 minutes of waiting, it comes to me without salad, without olives, without egg, without schovy. I'm asking for one. View menu

Lunch was quite good for all 4 of us: croque madames, steak frite, gnocchi. only problem was few staff so it took a while to get our table and get served but very pleasant people. pretty empty too so v good place to go for lunch.

I had an excellent dining experience in a beautiful setting. I thoroughly enjoyed my branzino, and my friend absolutely loved the steak. The butternut squash quark salad was exceptional. The service was attentive, making it truly a great neighborhood spot.

I saw that it had great reviews and I totally understand why. I got the burrata, risotto, asparagus and tiramisu and it was such a beautiful experience in my mouth. The aesthetics also seriously heightened my time. The staff was attentive and the food was amazing. Thanks so much Marlow Bistro! View menu

We were ignored by the waitress while waiting for another couple from our party who were stuck in traffic. My entree was incorrect. One server accidentally knocked over our bottle of wine, spilling it. To make up for these mistakes, they brought us desserts that we did not want or eat. The food was tasty, but the service was undeniably lacking.

The food is consistently good. The limited menu is both beneficial and a drawback, as the kitchen executes the dishes well each time. However, if you're looking for a wider variety of options, you may find the menu a bit restrictive. Unfortunately, the service was lacking during this visit. Perhaps it was because we were seated off to the side outside, but there were long stretches when we didn't see a server at all.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
