Maru Sushi Grill - Menu

I absolutely love Maru! This was my first visit to the Cherry Street location, and it was delicious, just like every other time I've been there.

Maru used to be amazing until they hiked up their prices and couldn’t compare to other places that offered a quieter atmosphere and more pleasant experience.

Zayne was the most enjoyable server we've had in a long while. He was so helpful with the menu and I was surprise to hear he had not been working there long as he was very knowledgeable. I have dietary restrictions but he was very kind as I explained what I wanted and the kitchen brought me out the most wonderful sushi roll. I could not have been happier. View menu

It's a cute little place. I got the yaki udon with chicken, and it was delicious. Perfect size, not too small but not too much. They don't have soda, and I like to treat myself to a soda when I go out since I don't eat out often, so that was disappointing since most places serve some sort of soda but that didn't ruin my experience at all, just wanted to mention.

We jokingly asked the host about a special request and to our surprise, she went out of her way to make it happen, and checked on us multiple times to make sure that we were taken care of. Our server was very friendly and more than happy to oblige us as well. We made sure to thank staff personally before we left. 4 stars because there was a very small bone in one of my husband's sushi rolls.

I haven't been to Maru in years. I always felt that the sushi was mediocre and over priced. HOWEVER, my wife and I went out there for their Valentines special 1w course dinner and was blown away.The food was amazing, the staff was amazing, and of course the atmosphere was amazing.I think maybe, we will have to come back for a standard lunch or dinner to see if their not just a one trick pony. The food was good and the servers were friendly, but the restaurant was very slow, almost empty when we were seated and it took an hour and a half to get our food. I understand you need to have time if you’re going out to eat but, it kinda just felt like we were forgotten about since there were only 5 other small groups in the store. I would like to try their food again, but I guess Ill just make sure i have two and a half hours to spare.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience! My server's name was Shannon, and she was a ray of sunshine—truly one of the kindest people I've met. She was incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu, including the specials. My friend and I ordered the Nirvana roll and the chef's special, which was amazing; they even customized it for us and included a complimentary salad. We also enjoyed some drinks, including the best mule I've ever had. The sweet fried tofu was outstanding as well. I can't recommend this place enough!

Over good experience. This is my personal opinion. Not bashing this establishment. We ordered 4 rolls, and they were good and tastie, but a lot going on within the rolls with all the flavors they were trying to incorporate into one roll. Little over powering flavor combating each other. Their Carb Rangoon Dip is absolutely amazing and a must order for an appetizer. Onlrly problem no pop/soda from Coke Cola or Pepsi Products, a little weird. Those are the reasons I gave the food a 4 star. Our server was amazing and spot on with our questions and kept my water filled. The atmosphere was nice and clean. im sure during warmer months, the outside sitting is relaxing. View menu
