"Stopped here for a quick lunch on my way to meet a friend nearby, and to continue my quest to eat through the top breakfast sandwiches in SF! It's got a great ambiance super casual neighborhood spot with a lot of what looked like regulars just in there on their daily routine, minding their own business. The order: the Breakfast Bagel (except on a Dutch Crunch roll) with a Sausage Patty, Cheddar cheese, and a fluffy steamed egg. Pretty decent portion, on a perfectly soft yet crunchy roll. It's what I would consider a reliable breakfast sandwich. Nothing too fancy or creative to throw you off, just a standard combination of familiar flavors. I wondered for a second if it was a little pricey, but hey, San Francisco right?"

someone working behind the counter sneezed into their hand (no gloves). rinsed off briefly with no soap.

The club sandwich is a must-try. It’s just a standard club but they do everything right. I would die for this sandwich.

You can get coffee but not good coffee. You cannot see the origin, and the coffee is dark roast. The space is nice and large, quiet enough to sit and work. View menu

I absolutely adore this place! It's a fantastic neighborhood coffee shop that serves excellent coffee and delicious sandwiches. I visit here quite frequently!

The restaurant feels overly restrictive with numerous rules posted everywhere, almost like stepping into a prison. It's quite uncomfortable to unwind in, and the atmosphere is quite stern. Additionally, the coffee leaves much to be desired.

For coffee, I highly recommend the Vietnamese iced coffee. As for food, you can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches or bagels; they are incredibly generous with cream cheese and spreads. If you're in the mood for a sandwich, try the club sandwich. For bagels, go for a cheese bagel with sun-dried tomato spread or the Loc bagel sandwich. Simply fantastic! Overall, the café has great vibes, wonderful people, and excellent coffee and food. It's the perfect spot to relax, get some work done, or just stop by before your day begins.

Great local affordable spot in the city. I love this spot. It's very spacious and a great place to work. Plenty of tables and area space. I usually only get bagels and teas here but they have a good combo of drinks and snacks. A bagel with cream cheese is less than $5 and I think that's great considering every other place in the city is almost $10 for a plain cream cheese bagel!! It's right by a high school and it gets a lot of students buying sweet drinks and snacks. The service is always great and quick. I need to try more things on the menu.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
